Men Of Love, Understanding and Compassion

Nobody who understands what the calling of the Watchman is all about who will argue the fact that it takes men of special qualities to attempt it.  To think of fulfilling our great 5-fold ministry or its rephrased/compressed form – the Lord’s 3-fold end-time project, without the above triplet is nothing but wishful-thinking.

It took the Lord these qualities to send His only begotten Son (Jesus) into the world and to Calvary’s cross for the sins of mankind (John. 3:16; 1 John. 3:16). Being the embodiment of love, and because He made man in His image and out of His own volition, He loves (1 John. 4:16; 3:1).  Being the embodiment of knowledge, He has understanding for mankind, as to the deceit of Satan in the garden, the subsequent loss of the glory and the resultant sinfulness of mankind (Romans 3:23; 5:19; Psalm 147:5).

The natural result of this love and understanding is compassion (Psalm 86:15; 103:13).  Following the above rule, we must be people of love, understanding and compassion.  Being children of God, having the Spirit of God (and love), we must love (Galatians 5:22; 1 John. 4:7). We must have understanding for others, as to their incapacitation, depravity or whatever that needs to be corrected in their lives.  With love and understanding, compassion will flow.

How can those who do not have the above qualities correct and change others, or unite the brethren/the church?  If the ministry must be achieved, it must be through love, understanding and compassion.
