WHOSOEVER ASKETH…..

Passage: Matt. 20:29-34
Service Type:

Bible Text: Matt. 20:29-34 | May we begin today=s Charismatic Hour, by reminding all that God is a highly principled Being? Being principled, His laid down commandments and rules are followed religiously. And in the area of ‘asking’, the directives must be diligently followed and obeyed for anyone to receive the required answers and blessings from Him. (Matt.7:7).

As we adjust our minds to disturb God by coming into His presence with our needs, He wants us to realize that He is the only God Who has power and authority to change situations and circumstances.

Today, we shall briefly see what God would have us to do.

At all times and in all generations, people have had needs in their lives. However, those who acknowledged the existence of the Almighty God and drew closer to Him in prayer with their needs, had great results and made the difference. Eg. Hannah (1Sam. 1:9-18,20), Jabez (1Chro. 4:9-10), Blind Bartimeus and his friend (Matt. 20:29-34), The leper and the Centurion (Matt. 8:1-4,5-10,13), The two blind men (Matt. 9:27-31) Etc. All these people had needs in their lives, and they never closed their mouths. They asked and had their needs met.

We are getting into the golden age of the Watchman, what are your needs in life? Salvation from sin, Sanctification, Baptism with the Holy Ghost, Spiritual Gifts, Material Blessings, Financial Upliftment, Healing, Children, Deliverance from Oppression, Promotion, Court cases to be cancelled, Accommodation, Life Partner, Fruit of the womb, etc? God would not want you to close your mouth. You are required to call upon Him and wait patiently for Him and you will surely not be disappointed (Matt. 7:7-11; 21:22; Jn. 14:13,14,16b; 16:24).

Those that did not acknowledge and appropriate His existence and His power to deliver, suffered for their neglect.

Let us get ready to pray, asking in faith (Jas.1:6-8; Jn.16:24).
