Praise the lord. Hallelujah. We are welcome once again to yet another session.

It’s been wonderful so far. It’s been highly a moment of blessings from the Lord with all the teachings we’ve had so far. In this session is also going to be great and we’re looking up to God to bless his people mightily at this hour in Jesus name.

We are going to commence this session by taking a song. The song is not in our hymns and songs for Christian fellowship so you bear with us but the music ministry will lead us in singing the song and after taking the song we shall all join in singing the choruses. So shall we start now?

Call to Response

The Lord is raising mighty men.

The Lord is raising mighty women. The Lord is raising a mighty army among watchmen. Something great is happening already.

And something mighty is going to happen today. If you want to be one of the great men and women that the Lord will raise in this retreat, would you please stand and lift up your hands and your voice and tell the Lord, I am thirsty. I want to be one of the mighty men.

Because God is about to do something. The Lord has raised the watchman for a purpose. Even to be his instrument for the end time harvest of souls.

And here the Lord is set to raise mighty men. Tell the Lord, I am in. I am in for your project.

I am in for your program. Lord, walk in me and let your purpose be achieved in my life in this retreat. Let us pray.

Opening Prayer

Dear Lord in heaven and earth, the mighty God. The God that made all things. The Lord that does what pleases him.

It has pleased you Lord of heaven to raise this movement as your channel of blessings. And it has pleased you this season even to organize this retreat. And you are about to do something.

You have already started. And this moment, dear Father, something great is about to happen. By the instrumentality of your word and of your spirit, you are going to raise mighty men.

You are going to raise mighty women. You are going to raise mighty youth. You are going to raise mighty children that you will use for your end time project in the name of Jesus.

We ask you, Father, to have your way. In Jesus’ mighty name we are praying. And amen.

Introduction of Theme and Topic

You may be seated. As we already have been meant to understand, the theme of this retreat remains the same. But today we are sharing a message entitled, Who wants to be a billionaire? Who wants to be a billionaire? I would like you to turn to your neighbor and tell your neighbor, I want to be a billionaire.

And I am going to be a billionaire. And I announce to you that God has appointed to make you a billionaire. Can you clap your hands unto the Lord Jesus? Can you clap your hands unto the Lord Jesus? Can you make a noise unto the Lord? Can you clap your hands and make a shout? Who wants to be a billionaire? Who wants to be a billionaire? I want to be a billionaire.

I want to be a billionaire. Thank you, Jesus. In Jesus’ name.

Welcome (Re-emphasis)

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I welcome us to yet another session in this wonderful retreat. The Lord has been blessing us immensely. This session is going to add more and more blessings in Jesus’ name.

My topic this hour is, Who wants to be a billionaire? Who wants to be a billionaire? Do you want to be a billionaire? Do you want to be a billionaire? If you want to be a billionaire, then rise on your feet and give the Lord a shout of praise. And give the Lord a clap of praise. Hallelujah!

Faith Declaration

The Bible says that faith comes by hearing.

And hearing the word of the Lord. The word of God says again that with the heart man believes unto righteousness. But with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

As you believe, let your mouth confess that which you believe. And God is going to grant you that which you believe and confess in Jesus’ name. Our text is taken from the book of Jeremiah chapter 9. You may be seated.

Bible Reading: Jeremiah 9:23–24

Jeremiah chapter 9, we’re reading from verses 23 and 24. Thus saith the Lord. Let not a wise man glory in his wisdom.

Neither let a mighty man glory in his might. Let not a rich man glory in his riches. But let him that glorieth glory in this.

That he understandeth and knoweth me. That I am the Lord which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

Exhortation on True Glory

Let that man, let that woman that should glory, not glory in his worldly wisdom. Let him not glory in his might as a person, as a human being. Let him not glory in his worldly riches, earthly possessions, wealth.

But let him glory in this. That he understandeth who God is. And that he knows God.

He understands and knows that the Lord, he is God. And he is the Lord that exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the whole earth. For in these things the Lord himself delights.

“Billionaire” Used Figuratively and Literally

Hallelujah. Now may I say that in this message we are using the word belonior figuratively. Yet we are going to apply it also to be literal at some point.

But as we proceed, just understand that at this moment the Lord wants you to appreciate the power of knowledge. Knowledge they say is power. And where there is lack of knowledge, the people perish.

Where people are ignorant, they suffer things they ought not to suffer. Where people are ignorant, they fall victims in the hand of the devil. And so God wants to build our knowledge foundation even with this message.

So that he can bring us to the point he wants us to be.

Bible Reading: Hosea 4:6

In the book of Hosea chapter 4, may we read from verse 6. Hosea chapter 4 verse 6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou hast rejected knowledge. I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me.

Seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The word knowledge is underscored. The absence of it brings destruction.

But the presence of knowledge brings wealth, brings growth, brings increase, brings salvation, brings anything and everything good that any man would desire.

Knowledge of God as the Foundation

And so when you are working with God, God wants you to understand who he is. That’s why he told us in Jeremiah chapter 9, that if any man wants to glory, if any person has any reason to glory at all, let him glory because he knows God.

Let him glory because he understands the ways of God. And that’s the only reason that should make a man to glory. Other than that, all other reasons are not acceptable, because they could be disappointing.

Why is it that God says we should not glory in those things? Because God knows that earthly wealth and possessions are mundane, are temporary, and they are most times, you know, just transitory. You can have them today, tomorrow you will not have them. And so why do you glory?

Call Back to Knowledge and Access in Christ

And so beloved brethren, in this message, God wants to call our attention back to knowledge.

The knowledge of what? The knowledge of who God is. The knowledge of who you are in the Lord. The knowledge of who we are in Christ.

The knowledge of assets God has made available unto us. Assets to his resources. Assets to his wealth.

Assets to his power. Assets to his spirit. Assets to his throne of grace.

Scripture: Proverbs 4:5–7

And so today, as you come along with me, let’s go and see a few scriptures that tells us the need for us to seek and possess knowledge and wisdom. In Proverbs, let’s read chapter 4. Proverbs chapter 4 from verse 5, we’ll read through to verse 7. Get wisdom. Get understanding.

Forget it not. Neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee.

Love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing. Therefore, get wisdom.

And with all thy getting, get understanding. Get wisdom. Get knowledge.

Seek knowledge and wisdom. Why? Because these are two instruments that when you get them, with them you can get anything from God. Hallelujah.

Scripture: Proverbs 8:10–12

And there are numerous benefits of knowledge and wisdom. Let’s see a few scriptures that tell us about the benefits of wisdom and knowledge. In the same Proverbs chapter 8, may we read from verse 10.

Receive my instruction, and not sieve her. And knowledge rather than choice gold. Why? Because when you receive God’s instruction, when you receive God’s knowledge, knowledge and instruction will give you much more than gold.

For wisdom is better than rubies, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

Knowledge and wisdom, they work together.

Knowledge and Wisdom Explained

Knowledge is that when you receive, it opens your eyes to know what to do, to know how to do things. But wisdom is a proper application of that knowledge. Wisdom is the application of knowledge in a positive manner, so that the knowledge will be beneficial.

There are some people that have knowledge, but they don’t have wisdom. And so they go about with their knowledge, and they talk about their knowledge, they post about their knowledge, but the question is, what has this knowledge fetched you?

Knowledge has not gotten you this or that and the things you need, because you are not combining knowledge with wisdom. And so if you are one of them in this meeting today, you must seek wisdom.

If you have wisdom and you don’t have knowledge, you should also seek knowledge, because the two work together.

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 7:12

In Ecclesiastes chapter 7, Ecclesiastes chapter 7, verse number 12. For wisdom is a defense.

Wisdom is a defense. And money is a defense. But the excellency of knowledge is that wisdom given life to them that have it.

Wisdom as Defense

Wisdom will defend you, because wisdom will guide you as to where to go and where not to go, as to how to make profitable decisions and how not to make unprofitable decisions. Wisdom will defend you. When you want to get into a damaging mistake, wisdom will tell you, no, don’t do that.

So wisdom is a defense. Wisdom will even help you to manage your resources. Your resources are limited.

Wisdom will guide you as to how to manage them in a manner that you will be, you will stay afloat, no matter the state of things around you. So wisdom is a defense. And knowledge is of great power.

Scripture: Proverbs 24:5

Let’s see another benefit of wisdom, another benefit of knowledge. Hallelujah. Proverbs 24.

Proverbs 24. May we read just verse number 5. A wise man is strong. A wise man is strong.

Yeah, a man of knowledge increases strength.

Wisdom Builds Strength in Every Area

So wisdom gives you strength. Wisdom makes you to be strong.

If you are a business person, wisdom will strengthen your business. If you are in marriage, wisdom will strengthen your marriage. If you are a minister of the gospel, wisdom will strengthen your ministry.

If you are a father, wisdom will help you and strengthen your family. As you build your family, wisdom helps you to manage things and things get better, stronger and stronger when you apply wisdom accordingly. Knowledge increases strength.

Hallelujah.

Need for Wisdom to Sustain Blessings

So you can’t afford to toil with wisdom and knowledge. Let me tell you this, that many people today have been blessed by God, but their blessings did not continue.

Their blessings suffered some kind of lack of persistence, lack of continuity, because they did not manage those blessings with wisdom.

But today God is saying, wisdom will make you strong. Wisdom will make you strong and knowledge will increase.

So whatsoever grace you have received, whatsoever mercy you have received, whatever measures of God’s blessing you have received, you need to apply wisdom in managing the grace, in working accordingly.

Even when you receive the unction of the Spirit of God, you need wisdom to apply those gifts accordingly.

Some people, because they were anointed, some people because they were gifted, they were not able to use those gifts accordingly because they lacked wisdom.

And so the gifts that ought to bring positive outcomes ended up bringing negative outcomes. So wisdom is inevitable. Wisdom is not just essential, it is inevitable.

You cannot do without wisdom. If you want to make progress in life, you cannot do without wisdom. Wisdom is essential, very critical.

If you are a wife, wisdom is critical. If you are a mother, wisdom is critical. If you are a father, wisdom is critical.

If you are a husband, wisdom is critical. If you are a minister, wisdom is critical. Wisdom is indispensable for growth.

Wisdom is indispensable for development. Wisdom is indispensable for advancement in anything that you are involved in.

So, beloved, we are talking about wisdom.

Why This Message: “Who Wants to Be a Billionaire?”

Why are we talking about wisdom? We are talking about wisdom and knowledge today because the Spirit of God says, is asking a question. The question is, who wants to be a billionaire? Who wants to be a billionaire?

And if you want to be a billionaire, then there is a knowledge base you ought to have today. If you want to be a billionaire, then there is wisdom you need to acquire.

Because without this wisdom, you won’t be a billionaire.

May I tell you this, you know, in the school, there are many people that, you know, you have classmates and in your class, you have some people that were at the top of the class taking first position, scoring A’s and A’s.

But there were some people that were not scoring such courses.

But 10, 15 years after, you will discover to your dismay that some of those people that were not scoring high marks in school, they are now millionaires.

And some of the people that was carrying A’s, they are not millionaires. They are struggling in life.

You ask, what is the matter?

The matter is that some people have intelligence, but they lack wisdom.

Intelligence is not enough to prosper. Intelligence is not enough to make you to advance.

You need wisdom. Even as pastors, even as ministers, we need wisdom.

So the Lord is saying, who wants to be a billionaire? And you have said, I want to be a billionaire.

Then the Lord said, receive knowledge. Receive wisdom.

Because this coming year, 2026, something great is going to happen.

There will be advancement. People will be pushed forward by the power of God.

But they need wisdom. They need knowledge. They also need understanding.

Message Outline Points

So in this message entitled, Who Wants to be a Billionaire? Having introduced it, we are going to look at the following points.

Point number one, the rich in the world and their end.

Point number two, we are going to consider biblical examples of billionaires. Now first, the worldly wise that are billionaires.

The second, biblical billionaires.

And then lastly, we are going to consider the unsearchable and exceeding greatness of Christ’s riches. The unsearchable and exceeding greatness of Christ’s riches.

It’s going to be so interesting. And so I invite you to come along with me as we digest this message by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Even at this hour.

Point 1: The Rich in the World and Their End

First point, the rich in the world and their end. In Jeremiah, let’s return to chapter 9 and verse 23. Chapter 9, verse 23.

Thus saith the Lord, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom. Neither let the mighty man glory in his might. Let not the rich man glory in his riches.

Let’s pause there.

Why is God saying this? God is saying this because of the following reasons.

One, the wisdom that God is despising here. God is despising a certain kind of wisdom. This is the wisdom of the world.

Men who believe that they are wise. In fact, some say they are the wisest in their generation. But they do not acknowledge God’s factor.

They put God aside and they promote their wisdom. The Bible says that they should not glory. Because that wisdom is transient.

Two, the Lord says those who have riches. They have riches. And they believe that their riches can fetch anything for them.

God says to them, no, do not glory in your riches. Because your riches can disappoint you.

We have an example. We are going to see some scriptures.

But we have an example of the rich fool. We have an example of that man who was so rich.

And he had a lot in his bank. And then he said to himself one day, oh, my soul rejoiced.

Because you have acquired so much. Now you don’t need to labor again. Just relax and enjoy the fruit of your labor.

And the Bible says in the night, God went to him and said, hey, young man. Your end has come.

Tonight you are going back to eternity. His riches could not save him.

And so the Lord is saying that the riches of the worldly wise and the aware cannot save them in the day of trouble.

We have seen people that were so rich, mightily rich, financially in many areas. But when death came, they could not stop death.

A certain dictator in Europe, in a certain country, many years ago, he was a great dictator.

And he ruled with iron hand. And he did whatever he wanted. He had whatever he wanted.

He killed whomever he wanted. But when it was time for death to come, and when death came, he called the best of physicians.

And they rallied around him. And then they tried to help him. But they could not help him.

And when he was about to die, he said something. What did he say?

He said, when I die, and when you want to bury me, just put me inside a casket and bring my hands out.

And let the world see that empty, I came. And empty, I’m returning.

My money couldn’t help me. My power couldn’t help me. My connections couldn’t help me.

Even the best of physicians I had, they could not help me.

And so what is in this life?

That is why the Lord is despising the wisdom of the world. And the riches of the world.

And also the might, the only mighty. Those who are mighty in the world because of political positions.

Those who are mighty because of military positions. Those who are mighty because of their spiritual positions.

And they boast that they belong to so-and-so organization, spiritual organization, so-and-so occult, so-and-so place, and all those things.

And they have acquired so much power that they are now boasting.

And they will kill whomever they want to kill. And they feel that life belongs to them. Everything belongs to them.

When the time comes, God will call them back. Just a single word, the spirit of the man will leave him.

So who are they that are worldly mighty? Who are they that are worldly rich? Who are they that are worldly wise?

God is saying, do not glory.

Do you have all the degrees you have planned to have? Do not glory.

Do you have all the money you have planned to have? Do not glory.

Do you have all the knowledge? Do not glory.

Do you have wealth, riches, money? Do not glory.

Are you connected all over the world? All the continents of the earth? You have friends, you have business partners? Do not glory.

Because the only reason why you should glory is that you know God.

If you don’t know God, do not glory.

Heads of states have died. Presidents of nations have died.

Billionaires have died. And great musicians have died.

Some musicians that when they come up on stage, as they open their mouth to sing, people will fall into frenzy.

People will start fainting. They have come, they have gone.

Great dictators, they have come, they have gone.

So what is it that you have that should make you to glory? Do not glory.

The only reason that you should glory is that you know God.

So if you are here at this moment and you are listening to the sound of my voice, you need to surrender your life to Jesus.

You need to seek to know Him. Jesus is the Savior. Jesus is your Redeemer.

Jesus is the one that died for you. If you don’t know Jesus, you know nothing. If you don’t have Jesus, you have nothing.

And if you have Jesus, do not envy those that have riches and wealth, but they don’t have Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Example 1: Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4)

Let’s see a few examples of great men and women that existed in this world and their stories and their accounts were recorded in the Bible. They were great. They were influential, highly influential, but they ended, they ended, you know, wrongly.

They ended in destruction. They ended in hell, many of them.

One example is Nebuchadnezzar. In the book of Daniel, let’s read chapter 4, and we see the account of Nebuchadnezzar.

He was a great man. He was a great king. He had a great empire.

He ruled. He made decrees, and his decrees stood.

He killed whom he wanted. He elevated whom he wanted.

He did whatever he pleased, and no one could challenge him, but a time came.

God said, you cannot continue.

He was highly influential. His empire was ruling the whole world.

Daniel chapter 4, may we read from verse 28.

All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of 12 months, he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

The king spoke and said, it’s not this great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power.

By the might of my power.

He arrogated the power to himself. He arrogated the might to himself.

And so he was boasting and said, am I not the one that built the whole of this empire, this great empire, this Babylonian empire, and I built it by the might of my power.

He did not acknowledge God.

And because of this arrogance manifested by him, because of this pride manifested by him, God became offended with him. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Let’s read from verse 31.

While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven saying, oh king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken, the kingdom is departed from thee.

And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field.

They shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most high ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomever he will.

The same hour, the same moment, the same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar.

And he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagle’s feathers, and his nails like bird’s claws.

And at the end of the day, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes unto heaven, and my understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most high, and I praised and honored him that liveth forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation.

And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing, and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth, and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, what doest thou?

Now, at the same time, my reason returned unto me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and brightness returned unto me, and my counselors and my law sought unto me, and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.

Now, based on these terrible experiences, now, I, Nebuchadnezzar, I praise and extol and honor the king of heaven, all whose ways are truth, and his ways judgment, and those that walk in bright, he is able to obey.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

Exhortation: Learn From Nebuchadnezzar

Do not suffer the fate of Nebuchadnezzar before you start to praise God. You need to humble yourself. Whatever status you have reached in life, whatever taste you have acquired, whatever level you have attained in life, in your career, whatever level of wisdom, knowledge you have, learn from Nebuchadnezzar.

All blessings come from God. Promotion comes from God. Elevation comes from God.

Nebuchadnezzar did not realize that until he suffered this fate.

A great king that ruled the whole empire was chased away from his palace into the forest, and he remained there for seven years.

And he was eating grasses and walking with animals and mingling with animals of different kinds.

No house, no shelter. Rain, beating, sun, the sun.

He was sleeping outside, a great king, but after seven years, as the word of the Lord said, God returned his senses.

Then he confessed. Then he testified. Hallelujah!

And so, Beloved brethren, this is just a perfect example of somebody who was inflation, or somebody who had might, who had power, military might, financial might, economic power, everything he had, but God humbled him, showing you that the word of God is true.

Example 2: Queen Jezebel (1 Kings 16:31–33)

The second person we want to look at is a woman, Queen Jezebel. We’re not going to read her story because we know the story.

Because for one more time, 1 Kings 16, from 31 through 33, there you will see the story of Queen Jezebel.

This woman married Ahab the king, and she took over the reigns of the kingdom. Ahab was just like her stooge. She detected whatever that happened.

And so, she killed prophets of God and hunted them and killed as many as she could lay her support. And the rest ran away.

And she brought prophets of God and groups and filled the whole land of Israel until Elijah the prophet had to, you know, was provoked and had to place that curse and said there shall be no reign and there shall be no due in this land until three and a half years.

And Jezebel and her husband and her prophets were reigning as it were.

She was influential. She was full of power. She did whatever she wanted.

But when it was time, God said to her, your game is up. Your time is up.

We know the story. How that the prophet Elijah came back and that contest on Mount Carmel happened and God prevailed.

And the power of God came and consumed the sacrifice with fire.

And the prophets of God and groups were killed. And Jezebel became angry more and more. She was provoked.

But the word of the Lord had come earlier concerning her that she would be killed in a dramatic manner.

She would be killed in a disgraceful manner to the point that her body would not be found to be buried.

And it came to pass when that time came, appointed by the Lord, that Jezebel was thrown out from the window and her body tore into pieces and her blood splashed on the walls of Israel and thus ate up her body.

A great woman. But that was how she ended.

So you can see from these two and all of us, you can see how that, you know, great men, great people that had great power, great might, great influences, we are humbled by God. Some were killed by God.

Example 3: Herod (Mark 6:14–28)

Let’s read the story of Herod Antipas. How that God, you know, dealt with his own case in Mark chapter 6. We’re going to read just a few verses and then we move on.

Mark chapter 6 from verse 14.

And he said that John the Baptist was risen from the dead and therefore mighty wars do show forth themselves in him.

Others said that it is Elias. And others said that it is a prophet or as one of the prophets.

And when Herod heard thereof, he said, it is John whom I beheaded. He is risen from the dead.

For Herod himself has sent forth and laid hold upon John and found and bound him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife, for he had married her.

For John had said unto Herod, it is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife.

Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him and would have killed him, but she could not.

For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and unholy and observed him.

And when he had him, he did many things and had him gladly.

And when a covenant day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief heirs of Galilee.

When the daughter of the saint Herodias came in and danced and pleased Herod, and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give thee.

And he swore unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give thee unto the half of my kingdom.

And she went forth and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

And she came in straightway with haste unto the king and asked, Saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

And the king was exceeding sorry for his own sake and her and for their sakes which sat with him. He would not reject her.

And what did he do? Immediately the king sent an executioner and commanded his head to be brought.

And he went and beheaded him in the prison and brought his head in a charger and gave it to the damsel and the damsel gave it to her mother.

That was Herod. That was how wicked he was.

And then he killed the prophet of God. But he carried on in that wickedness.

In fact, when Jesus, the news of the birth of Jesus came up to him, he wanted to do the same. But Jesus, you know, was taken out of the land.

But when the time came that God decided to judge him, God judged him and he died in a terrible manner.

Praise ye the Lord.

Summary of the Worldly Rich and Mighty

So these were people that had might, that had influence, that had power, that had money.

And so they ruled and did things without taking God into consideration, without the fear of God.

But God humbled them.

And we have also the rich young ruler. I mentioned his case to us.

We also have the rich fool.

And also what about the rich man and Lazarus, the one that Lazarus came to his house to beg for food and he sent his dog and the dog, you know, attacked Lazarus and Lazarus died eventually.

And then God made him to die and then he went to hell and there he met, he saw from the side of hell where he was, he saw, he saw Lazarus and he pleaded for mercy.

He pleaded for water but it was not going to be given to him.

And so beloved brethren, I want to show you that you don’t need to envy the wicked, the wicked that are rich because you may not know the source of their riches.

But does that mean that God is against people being rich? No.

Does that mean that God is against people being wise? No.

Does it mean that God is against people, you know, having strength, having power? No.

But all it means is that those who do not factor God in, in their riches, those who do not factor God in, in their growth and advancement in life, the Bible has made us to know that their riches mean nothing to God.

Their wisdom mean nothing to God. Their might mean nothing to God.

And not only that, they will surely one day end up and suffer for their wickedness.

But for us as children of God, what is God saying unto us?

What God is saying to us is that we as people of God, we should seek wisdom, we should seek riches, we should seek might but in a godly way. Hallelujah.

We should not envy the wicked. We should not envy, we should not wish to be like them.

Transition to Biblical Billionaires

Today we have in our society many kinds of people. We are seeing examples in the Bible.

What about the examples around us?

Wherever you are in the country where you are listening this message from, you will see those who have political powers.

You will see those who have economic powers.

You will see those who have talents, musicians, artists.

You will see people that are wielding power and wielding money.

Some of them are not acquiring the money in godly ways but they are acquiring this money in satanic ways and they are using them for satanic purposes and they are all over the place.

Sometimes believers appear to be intimidated by these people.

Check in your country where you are and then use your mind and your eyes to check around.

You will see some of them have passed, some are still alive and they are glorying and they are living in glamour and they are moving from one country to the other.

You know, in their work, in their entertainment work, they are flying from today, they are in this country, tomorrow they are in another country and you will see some of them, they despise God.

They despise the Bible. They despise Jesus. They talk ill of Christianity.

They don’t take righteousness to mean anything.

When you tell them about being born again, they laugh at you, they mock you and they will ask you questions.

What has your God done for you? What has being born again done for you?

And some of us, we see these people, we hear about these people and we wonder why is it so?

Why is it so that the wicked appear to be prospering but the Bible says no, don’t go that way.

I want to show you that even in the Bible that we are men and women that we are rich, that we are billionaires and God says you will be a billionaire. Praise ye the Lord.

But the difference between the people we are going to consider now and those we considered earlier is that the people we want to consider right now, they had God in their life.

They factored God in, in their affairs. They feared God. They respected God.

They loved God. They obeyed God and they were billionaires.

And today God is saying that you will be in the mode of these biblical billionaires in Jesus name.

I say you will be in the mode of these biblical billionaires in Jesus name.

And I will be in the mode of these biblical billionaires in Jesus name.

Biblical Example: Abraham (Genesis 15:1–6)

Let’s pick a few examples.

Someone like the father of our faith, Abraham. In Genesis chapter 15, let’s read a few of the stories about him.

He was a billionaire by all means and standard.

He was a billionaire in righteousness.

He was a billionaire in obedience to God.

He was a billionaire in loving the Lord.

He was a billionaire in loyalty to God.

He was a billionaire in submissiveness to God.

He was a billionaire.

He was at the highest level of obedience to God.

He was at the highest level of faith in God.

And so he was a billionaire.

And he was also an economic billionaire. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Genesis chapter 15, may we read from verse 1 through verse 6.

After these things, the word of the Lord came unto Abraham in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abraham, I am thy shield and thy exceeding great reward.

And Abraham said, Lord God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless?

And the steward of my house, is this Eliezer of Damascus?

And Abraham said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed, and lo, one born in my house is my heir.

And behold, the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, This shall not be thy heir, but he that shall come forth out of thy own bowels shall be thy heir.

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them.

And he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

And he believed in the Lord, and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Exhortation: Be a Billionaire in Faith

He was a billionaire in faith. He was a billionaire in obedience. He was a billionaire in knowledge and in wisdom.

And on this note, I said we’re using the word billionaire on figurative notes. But we’re also going to use it on a literal note.

Because Abraham had the boats.

He was balanced.

He was balanced because he was a billionaire in righteousness.

He was a billionaire in faith.

And he was also a billionaire financially.

In fact, this one man, the Bible says he had an army.

To the point that when people invaded, you know, his land and they took away, Lord, the Bible says he gathered 300 soldiers from his own household, equipped, fed by him, trained by him, and they pursued the enemy.

And he captured them.

What do you say of such a man that will have such capacity, financial capacity, military capacity, economic capacity?

He was a billionaire, yet he was humble, yet he was obedient to God, yet he was believed God.

And he continued to believe God even when physical and obvious situations would not agree with believing God.

God said, you are going to have a son at the age of 75.

And he continued to go on believing God until he was 99.

Then angels came and said, look, this thing will happen by this time next year, your wife will have a child.

And he believed. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

The Bible says he staggered not in his faith. His faith was strong.

Even when physical body was like impossible.

But he believed God.

And no wonder the Bible says God counted it to him for righteousness.

The way you believe me, you are a righteous man.

And when that child was born, at a certain age, a tender age of the child, the Lord said, take him and go and sacrifice him, kill him for me.

At Moria, he believed God. He obeyed God.

And he took Isaac to the mountain.

He prepared the sacrifice and everything, the altar, and placed Isaac about to kill him.

The Lord said, no, don’t do that.

And God said, this man, you believe me.

This man, you trust me.

This man, you love me.

God said, this man, you are a righteous man. Praise ye the Lord.

So he was a, he was a billionaire in faith.

And God is asking all today to become billionaires in faith.

Become a billionaire in believing God.

Regardless of odds.

Regardless of challenging situations.

Believe God.

Regardless of what is happening in your body.

Obvious situations and factors that you are aware of.

Believe God.

Regardless of what is happening in your business.

Believe God.

Regardless of the arrows, the enemies, the devils that throw you.

Believe God.

Regardless of whatever you are seeing right now that do not align with the word of God.

Believe God.

And as you believe, God will count it for you for righteousness.

Praise ye the Lord.

Billionaires in faith will become practical billionaires.

God is able to do it.

Are you here believing that God will do it?

Do you believe that God will do it?

I am not saying he can’t do it. I say he will do it.

God will do it for you.

God will do it for me.

But your faith needs to come up.

Your faith needs to come up.

And that’s one of the challenges that believers have.

Because the devils come sometimes and they start to, you know, give us reasons why we should not believe God.

Give us reasons why certain things that God said he would do cannot happen.

But Abraham did not agree with that.

He believed God.

He trusted in fulfillment of the promise of God. Hallelujah.

Biblical Example: Joseph (Genesis 37; Genesis 41)

Another example, a perfect one again for that matter, is Joseph.

Joseph was a billionaire in all areas of his life.

He was a billionaire in faith.

He was a billionaire in obedience.

He was a billionaire in righteousness.

He was a billionaire in patience.

He was a billionaire in trusting God.

He was a billionaire in humility.

The 11th son of Jacob, he had older siblings.

They hated him because his father loved him more than them.

He was always telling his father the truth as against the others who were lying to their father.

And the father, you know, made the matter worse as it were and sewed for him a coat of many colors.

And they said, you must die.

But God has spoken concerning him.

He has seen revelations of 11 stars, you know, bowing down to him.

He has seen revelations.

And the things he saw showed that God would make him the leader of his father’s house.

And he shared, you know, the vision.

You know, that’s why sometimes it’s not every revelation you will share.

There are some things that you share.

There are some visions you share.

There are some visions you don’t share.

When the vision is still at an embryo stage, keep it to yourself.

When an idea is just coming up, keep it to yourself.

Before you start sharing, you must know the person or persons you want to share those things with.

Because sometimes when you abruptly share visions, when you abruptly share ideas, you may not know who you are sharing those things with.

That person may be an instrument that will go against the vision.

And so Joseph shared the vision with his brethren and the Bible said they hated him and they planned to kill him.

Let’s read what the Bible says concerning him in Genesis chapter 37 from verse 5. Hallelujah.

And Joseph dreamed a dream and he told it to his brethren and they hated him yet more.

And they hated him yet more.

They didn’t stop at hating him.

They went further and planned to kill him.

In Genesis 41 from verse 39 through verse 40 and subsequent verses, but we may not read, but there you see the story of how they ganged up and then they threw him into the pits.

From the pits they brought him out, they sold him to Egyptians.

And from there, the Egyptian slave traders sold him to Potiphar, an army officer.

And Potiphar made him his slave.

Not just a servant, a slave.

Then at a point he became the chief servant and chief slave.

And then the enemy seeing the vision, seeing what the Lord said concerning him, brought the woman and said defy this person because defying him will stop the vision.

Defying him will stop the program of God in his life.

But Joseph being a man that feared God, Joseph being a man that knew what God said concerning him, he was not ready to do that.

He refused to compromise.

And as a result of his refusal, the woman had to make a plan and he was imprisoned after false accusation.

And then in the prison, Joseph was still believing God.

Joseph was still trusting God.

He was patient.

There in the prison, he was again elevated because the hand of God was always upon him.

When the hand of God is always upon a man, there is nothing people can do to stop that man.

But that man must continue to believe God.

And I want to say to somebody here, the hand of God is upon you.

The hand of God is upon you.

Therefore you will not be destroyed.

I say you will not be destroyed in the name of Jesus.

You will not be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

You will not be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

Are you here and they are contending and they are challenging and they are wanting to stop what God has programmed to do with you?

I want you to say, like Joseph, I will reach my promised land.

So from prison, Joseph was made the prime minister in a strange land.

Are you in a strange land?

Are you in a foreign land?

And God has said something concerning you and the devils are fighting, contending to see how they could stop the program of God.

I announce to you, they will not be able because God is with you.

But be a billionaire in faith.

Be a billionaire in trusting God.

Be a billionaire in believing God.

Be a billionaire in loving God.

Be a billionaire in righteousness.

And that way you will see that what God has said concerning you will surely come to pass in Jesus’ name.

Other Examples Mentioned

You know, what shall we say concerning Deborah?

She was a woman, a prophetess, but when there was trouble in the land, military soldiers, officers could not go to war and they said, except you are the one that will lead us in the battle.

Without being trained as a soldier, without having any military training, Deborah, as a result of her faith, as a result of her relationship with God, led them in the battlefield.

She was a billionaire. Hallelujah.

Let’s come to the New Testament.

What about the apostles? Apostle Simon, Peter, Apostle James, Apostle Peter, Apostle Paul.

They were billionaires in knowledge.

They were billionaires in understanding.

They knew God and they followed Jesus to the core.

They did not allow whatever persecution they went through to stop them.

So, as you follow the Lord and come to believe the Lord, you will not be stopped in Jesus’ name.

Hallelujah.

What do we say about the blessed Mary?

The one that God used as an instrument to bring our Lord Jesus into the earth.

She was a young lady.

She was a virgin.

She was a billionaire because she separated herself and she kept herself and God found favor with her and God used her to bring the Savior.

She was a billionaire.

What do we say about Mary, you know, Mary Magdalene?

She was also a billionaire because she followed Jesus.

She followed Jesus with all her heart and with all her mind.

What do we say about Mary, the sister of Martha and even Martha herself?

These were billionaires in their rights in different ways.

They loved the Lord.

They believed the Lord.

They trusted God.

What are we going to say about Mary, the lavish oil, expensive oil on the feet of Jesus, preparing Jesus for the burial?

What do we say about Judas Iscariot who came up and challenged her and said, why are you lavishing the oil up on the feet of Jesus?

We could have sold this oil so that with it, we can make more money.

And the Bible says he did not care for the poor because he said that because he was a thief.

So, there are people in the house of God and God has blessed you.

And how are you using the money?

Mary brought her expensive ointment and used it, you know, used her hair to clean the feet of Jesus and used her tears to wash his feet and her hair to wipe off the tears and the oil to anoint Jesus.

Because Jesus said to Judas, don’t stop this woman.

What she’s doing is part of what must be done.

She’s preparing my body for burial.

I don’t know people today that are running headless cattle and they’re running crazy because of hair, because of artificial hair, because of wigs.

Some people buy wigs, 1 million naira, 500,000, 700,000, one wig that you don’t know the source.

You don’t know where it came from.

But Mary Magdalene used her natural hair to wipe the feet of Jesus.

Some people, hair is making them not to serve God.

They are being convicted to serve God.

But what do I do about this, my hair?

I want to keep my hair in a particular form.

And for that reason, I will not serve God as God wants me.

But Mary used her hair to wipe the feet of Jesus after using her tears to clean the feet and brought an expensive oil to wash the feet, to anoint the feet of Jesus.

So she was a billionaire.

And so you can be a billionaire in faith.

You can be a billionaire in giving.

You can be a billionaire in service.

You can be a billionaire in knowing the Lord, in serving the Lord, in committing yourself to the things of God.

So in which area are you a billionaire?

In which area is God calling you?

Has God raised you to serve Him?

And some things are limiting you.

Some things are hindering you.

There are excuses that you are having.

I know here and there, but here we are.

We have seen men.

We have seen women.

Time will not allow us to read about most of them, but we have mentioned a few.

And let’s learn from those few and then be challenged and serve God.

Point 3: The Unsearchable Riches of Christ

Then the third and last point, the unsearchable and exceeding greatness of Christ’s riches.

Hallelujah.

The what?

The unsearchable and exceeding greatness of the riches of Jesus Christ.

As believers, we have some privileges.

We have some rights.

We have some things going for us, but we need knowledge to tap into these blessings, to tap into these goodies.

And these are things I want to share with you in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 18.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of His calling and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the sense.

And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe according to the working of His mighty power, which He wrought in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places.

Far above all principality and power and might and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

And have put all things under His feet and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.

Connecting Verse 17 to 18

Look at it again.

Let’s look at 17, connect 17 to 18 so that you will see where this 18 is coming from.

It was a prayer made by Apostle Paul for the brethren, the church of God in Ephesus.

And look at the prayer.

He said that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give unto you the spirit of what?

Wisdom.

The same wisdom.

The same wisdom we’ll be talking about and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

So that your eyes of understanding may be opened that you will know.

Your eyes of understanding will be opened that you will know.

The implication here is that it is possible for somebody to have great riches, but he is blind and he cannot see.

Somebody to have great riches and is not aware and is grooming in ignorance and is wallowing in ignorance and also wallowing in poverty.

Ignorance brings poverty.

Ignorance, lack of knowledge makes people to be spiritually poor, to be physically poor, to be financially poor because they do not know what they are supposed to do.

And even when they know, they don’t know how to go about it.

Categories of Riches in Christ

And so here, the prayer of Apostle Paul for them and for us today, the same prayer he prayed for them, that prayer he’s also praying for us, and if you can take advantage of it and explore and tap into the prayer, you can make it your prayer, convert it to a prayer.

And say, oh God, open my eyes of understanding that I may be enlightened so that I will know what is the hope of my calling as a believer and what the riches of the glory of inheritance that I have in Jesus as a child of God, as a son of God, washed with the blood of Jesus.

Because there is a whole lot of riches in Christ.

We can categorize them, spiritual riches, health riches, financial riches.

We can categorize them further.

Intellectual riches, we can explain them further.

Marital riches, family riches, riches of the fruit of the womb.

These are all riches.

Ministerial riches, riches of the Holy Spirit that we can acquire from the Holy Spirit, fruits of the Spirit, gifts of the Spirit.

The Bible talks about the seven Spirits of God.

I study in Isaiah chapter 11, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of knowledge, the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of the fear of the Lord, the Spirit of might, and the Spirit of counsel.

Illustration: Oceanic Resources

May I tell you something? That the God we serve is a God that is abundant in riches.

Have you thought about the ocean? Any ocean you can remember, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean.

Have you thought about any ocean?

Have you thought about resources inside the ocean?

When you go into the ocean, if you have the capacity to go in, you will see there are mineral resources.

You will see that there are liquid minerals.

You will see there are crude oil inside the ocean.

You will see there are solid minerals inside the ocean.

You will see that there are fisheries of different kinds, marine mammals, big ones.

Sometimes when they come out once in a while, you will see hundreds of people come around and they are taking meat from one animal, from the sea, and they will keep collecting and sometimes they don’t die and they will go back to the sea and nature will rebuild them, will replenish them.

These are creatures made by God.

Have you thought about resources of the ocean?

It’s a means of transportation.

Have you thought about that?

It’s a means of even creating electricity through hydroelectricity.

You can get power from the ocean.

You get power from the ocean.

You get transportation.

Sheep move from one country to another country, from one country to another country.

So, the ocean is full of what? Resources.

But you know, if you’re talking about ocean, there are some areas that you can access, you know, as a country.

But there are areas of the ocean that belong to all countries of the world.

We call them the high seas.

The ones that belong to a country, they are the exclusive economic zones.

Only the country have access to that.

And no other country will come and attach natural resources from the EEZ zone, except with the permission of the coastal states.

And so, you go to the ocean, you see so much resources.

And what about the water itself?

Now, if you can bring in, you know, a lot of tankers, for instance, and you bring like 1,000, and you take them to a particular ocean, say Atlantic Ocean, and you start to collect water, and you use your pipe system, you collect water, and you say every day, they will go 1,000 times.

And they will go and empty it somewhere.

They will come again.

After 100 years, the ocean remains the same.

No matter the amount of water you remove from the ocean, the ocean does not change.

What about God, the maker of the ocean?

Now, if you think about God, if you think about the ocean, you now can imagine, God has oceanic resources.

Can I hear you say hallelujah?

No matter how much you can collect from God, God’s resources will never be exhausted.

So, I can say that the God we are serving is a God whose resources are inexhaustible.

Those that cannot finish, they keep replenishing.

Take away water, water will replenish.

Take away resources, they will replenish, because God is abundant in resources.

Challenge to Faith

But look at the predicament that we have, that many believers lack the faith to tap from these oceanic resources.

God has all that you need.

Spiritual blessing, He has.

Physical, He has.

Healing, He has.

Material blessing, He has.

Money, He has.

Man, He has.

What do you need? What do you want?

To make you a pioneer.

And so, in Christ, we have a license for what? Assets.

Everybody say assets.

Say assets.

Assets, say assets.

Assets to where?

Assets to the throne of God.

Assets to abundant riches of God.

Assets to the riches of Christ.

Because Jesus has washed us from all our sins.

And so, he has given us that license.

He has given us that asset that we can approach the throne of God.

And we can approach that throne, also called the throne of grace.

The throne of mercy.

To find mercy and find grace that we can use at a time of need.

On Fear and Faith

Why do we lack things that we should not lack?

One, because of what? Fear.

Fear negates faith.

Fear fights your faith.

But this day, you will conquer your fear.

You will cast away your fear and say, I believe God.

Look at what the Bible said, that your eyes of understanding be opened.

Which means all believers can become spiritual billionaires.

I say we can become spiritual billionaires.

We can become financial billionaires.

We can become economic billionaires.

We can become billionaires in hell.

But you must, first of all, become a billionaire in believing God.

Because Abraham believed God.

And it was counted unto him for what? Righteousness.

In Hebrew, chapter 11, verse 6, the Bible says, without faith, it is impossible to do what? To please God.

For he that cometh to him must first believe that he is, he is, he is.

And he is a rewarder.

God is a rewarder of those that seek him.

And so, you have come here to see God.

God will reward you.

But you have to believe God.

God’s Abundance Declared

Our God is limitless.

Our God is abundant in resources.

He is abundant in mercy.

He is abundant in compassion.

He has abundance of love.

He has abundance of spiritual, material, financial resources.

He has abundance of children.

There are billions and billions of children in God’s warehouse.

There are billions and billions and trillions and quadrillions of resources in God’s warehouse.

Whatever you need, you can collect from God.

And God has said that he wants you to be a billionaire.

Who wants to be a billionaire?

Who wants to be a billionaire?

I’m asking, who wants to be a billionaire?

Are there men here that want to be billionaires?

Are there people that want to be billionaires?

Then arise and come to the Lord and say, I want to be a billionaire.

Let him ask for faith.

He that wants to be a billionaire in faith, let him come to God.

I want to be a billionaire in wisdom.

I want to be a billionaire in knowledge.

I want to be a billionaire in righteousness.

I want to be a billionaire in holiness.

I want to be a billionaire in humility.

I want to be a billionaire in commitment and service.

I want to be a billionaire by way of my dedication to God.

I want to be a billionaire by way of my service.

Who wants to be a billionaire?

Who wants to be a billionaire?

Who wants to be a billionaire?

Say to the Lord, here am I.

Here am I.

Here am I.

Here am I.

In all departments, I want to be a billionaire.

Physically, I want to be a billionaire.

As a minister, I want to be a billionaire.

In my health, I want to be a billionaire.

Economically, I want to be a billionaire.

Intellectually, I want to be a billionaire.

In my family, I want to be a billionaire.

In my marital life, I want to be a billionaire.

Ministerial, I want to be a billionaire.

Circularly, I want to be a billionaire.

I want to be a billionaire and I am a billionaire.

By my mouth, I confess it.

By my heart, I believe it.

And with my mouth, I confess.

I believe today that from this day, I am a billionaire.

I am a billionaire. Hallelujah.

Let’s go to song number 74 and then we get into prayers.

Your prayers today is going to chase away anything that has to do with ignorance.

Anything that has to do with poverty.

Poverty of the mind.

Poverty of intellect and any other kind of poverty.

Your prayer, through the word you receive, your prayer will chase them away.

Transition Into Prayers

I turn into prayers at this moment, begin to tell the Lord I want to be a millionaire.

I receive this word of God.

I am a millionaire from this day.

Everything that is working negatively against my life, today they must come under a mighty, mighty power of God.

And they are reversed, because you have made me a millionaire.

And my eyes are opened.

But you can ask the Lord to open your eyes more.

Remember the prayer of Apostle Paul.

He said that the eyes of your understanding must be opened.

That might you receive anointing, so that you will know, you will know who you are.

You’re exceeding greatness of God’s power and God’s riches that you have access, access to God’s riches, access to God’s wisdom, access to God’s knowledge, access to God’s understanding, access to might, access to the power of God for ministration, for living right, for serving God.

That is what the Lord is saying today.

This is the hour to pray.

You can turn this to prayer.

Remember, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith, faith is a ladder.

Faith is a ladder with which you climb to the throne of God to obtain whatsoever you need from Him.

God’s resources are unsearchable.

God’s resources are, are, are, are, cannot be finished.

God’s resources are such that you can get anything from Him.

But you need to come with faith and you need to pray.

You need to call upon God.

This hour, and say, Lord, I have come.

I have come into your oceanic presence, and I want to tap, and I tap this, I tap that, I tap that, I tap this, I collect this, I collect that.

Whatever you need, this is the time for you to have.

The word of God has come and said, who wants to be a billionaire?

Who wants to be a billionaire?

I am a billionaire already.

By faith, I’m a billionaire.

By faith, I am a billionaire.

I am a billionaire spiritually.

I’m a billionaire in grace.

I’m a billionaire in mercy.

I’m a billionaire by the spirit of God.

I’m a billionaire in anointing.

By faith, oh Lord, I take what belongs to me.

I possess my possession.

I take what belongs to me.

By faith, oh Lord, by faith, oh Lord, I take my salvation.

By faith, who wants to be a billionaire?

You can be anything you want to be.

I want you to believe it.

I take it, I believe it.

Everything is turning around from this day.

All things are turning around from this day.

All things are turning around for our favor.

Watchmen all over the world, hear the word of the Lord.

Everything is turning around.

God is raising men.

God is raising women.

God is raising people.

God is preparing people for a great spiritual onslaught, for a great gospel onslaught.

God is raising billionaires, spiritual billionaires, billionaires in faith, billionaires in righteousness, billionaires in evangelistic prowess, billionaires in awareness, billionaires in insight, billionaires in spiritual might.

Deborah was a billionaire.

She was a woman, but she led army commanders to a battle because she was a billionaire in faith, in courage, in determination.
