When I was praying this afternoon, I was full of excitement because of what came into my mind. I was just picturing a situation in the very near future where every woman in the ministry of the watchman will be like blessed Mary, having her magnificat and then every man will have his ‘Nunc Dimittis’. 

 

Magnificat is that song that the blessed Mary sang when the announcement was made to her as to what was going to happen. And the angel confirmed it, a song of praise. Nunc Dimittis is that which Simeon sang and said, “Now let thy servant depart in peace” I am looking forward to that time when everybody will be singing his magnificat even as Hannah sang her magnificat. 

 

1 Samuel 2:1(KJV)

“And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the Lord, mine horn is exalted in the Lord: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.”

 

What she called salvation here is that which the Lord did, that mesmerisation which she was into which the Lord had stopped. And then I am looking forward to that time when every woman will have some song and then you know that this prophetic prayer was not written earlier, it was spontaneous.  I am looking a time in the Christian community when there will be spontaneous singing, prayers and praise to God as a result of what God has done. This is what God is making me to know that is on the way. 

 

1Samuel 2:2 (KJV)

“There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.  The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.  They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.” That is Hannah’s magnificat. 

 

Blessed Mary had her magnificat as a result of what the Lord did. 

Let us see that in Luke 1:39- KJV

“And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judea;  And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.”  

 

The song of Simeon, is called Nunc Dimittis Luke 2: 25–32 (KJV)

“And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.” 

 

This is my vision concerning the men that will follow all along in the things that are coming in this new Christian community. They will see the fulfilment of the things they are looking for, their joy will be full and then they will begin to have songs that were not written before. 

 

Now, let’s move into the message proper, titled, “LATE COMERS”.

In the Lord’s 3fold end-time project manual which was given to me for the church of Christ some time ago; it is stated therein that we have the following business to prosecute:

• To raise a mighty army of believers from among the congregations for an imminent great harvest of souls into the kingdom of God.
• To Bring about a great harvest of souls proper into the kingdom and then an unprecedented revival in the universal church.
• To fulfil the pre-rapture necessity Eph. 4:11-15.

 

Pre-rapture necessity means something that is not negotiable that has to be before Jesus Christ comes in the sky to receive his bride. 

 

Eph. 4:11-15 (KJV)

“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”

Eph. 5:27 (KJV)

“That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” 

That is the business we have and that business is not negotiable. And so we cannot wait anymore to be purged of every dross. A dross is that part of metal which is scrapped out as unnecessary or as waste in the refining of that metal. We cannot wait to get rid of those unnecessary things, those polluting attribute that must be taken out. You must take note of this requirement.

 

If you want to belong to a ministry with the purest of foundations, you must prepare to remain in the hole from which you are dug (Isaiah 55:1). You cannot afford to be a different person, following a different lifestyle, having a different mindset, doing as you please, being reckless with your life, being lackadaisical, and not being grave. 

 

So beloved, as you prepare your mind towards taking this decision, you must begin to ask yourself, “What is the dross? What are the unwanted things in my life? What are those things that I must kill or get out from my life so that I can be the person that I ought to be?” 

 

Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 2: 20 (KJV) declares:

“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”

 

Every manner of natural tendencies which one possesses such as: self-centeredness or stubbornness, (that is, you are self-willed and would want to do your desire regardless of what anyone else may say) must be taken away. 

 

We must not be like Korah, Dothan and Abiram. Moses had fallen on his face and pleaded, “don’t do that, this is an abomination, this is rebellion” but they said, “go and sit down, we have made up our mind, you take too much to yourself” and then they paid the ultimate price. And so we cannot wait to be cleansed of any dross that we might be fit from the master’s use. 

 

Now, apart from getting every dross out of our lives, the issue of being a well-informed class of Christian elders, women leaders, workers, music makers and publishers, well informed class of people is also not negotiable. I received the ministry and did not confer with flesh and blood. It was not to be prayed about. It was non-negotiable. So you discover that the thing that I am pursuing is non-negotiable, I knew it, and when you come, please take note of the words that you hear, because words make or mar, they make or destroy depending on what word you heard and who spoke the word which you took. Therefore, our being leaders who are well informed is not negotiable. 

 

It is on this note that I want to consider the various TYPES OF LATE COMERS to the kingdom, peradventure you discover that you fit into one type. In fact there is no type that you should fit into.

 

• THE FIRST CATEGORY OF LATE COMERS ARE THOSE WHO HABITUALLY COME LATE PRACTICALLY TO MEETINGS:

These group of later comers, come late to the house of God without any reason that God can call genuine. They stroll into the meetings every now and again, coming late without cogent reasons. For examples, those who come late because the meetings are no more exciting to them, so they manage to come to fulfil some kind of obligation, which is what we are seeing today. This is because meetings with God are no more exciting. May I tell you this, do you know that you have the ability within you to make the things that is no more exciting to become exciting. 

 

For instance, you used to like some kind of foods, but monotony set in, but that kind of food does you good, but because it is become monotonous, you are expected to eat it every day or once in two days, and now because of monotony, it is no more exciting. But you can make it exciting by talking to your mind and forcing yourself to like the food again. In the same way somebody that has been there over the years, following the Lord, but now the zeal and interest wanes and lackadaisicalness have set in, you can talk to yourself, change your mind and revive your interest. Those who come late do so as a result of lack of interest; 

 

Some others do so because they are cooking and eating 30minutes to 1hour to the time of fellowship. 

 

Others will hide in the guise of attending to their family and as such they habitually come late to the house of God. 

 

The self-employed refuse to close on time, they will purposely remain there buying and selling thereby going very late to the meetings, and others just go home. Some others remain in their place of employment and over stay not because they are on essential duties. Many others come late because they regard their personal pursuits more than going to the house of God. These are the habitual physical late comers to the church. Unfortunately, some pastors are involved. 

 

The reward of the late comers is that they lose what they should gained by there on time. They remain ignorant of salient truths and then suffer the consequences of their self-inflicted ignorance. In the early days of the fellowship, I wanted to cut the fellowship days to two (2) times in a week and I announced it, I wanted to join our Sunday light service to bible study because I pitied the people who were coming from far and we had only one central fellowship. But the Lord said, “return the fellowships to what they are, everyone has its role, you don’t serve God with convenience and think you can get anywhere with convenience” and I didn’t have any option than to return the fellowships, so that is why we are having three fellowships in the week. 

But now that we are recommencing the church, bible studies will be fantastic, I will not wait for the house to be full, I will not wait to teach it on Sunday, no way. It must be taught on a bible study day. If you don’t come or if you come late you will miss what you should not miss. And because you miss that thing you have become ignorant, you are deficient, you are spiritually deficient and lacking some nutrients and as a result of that ignorance, you attract some danger. 

 

The thing that you should have readily overcome, you will not overcome and the thing will overcome you, because on a bible study day, something was said that should have been a booster, some information was given but you were not there. And the devil knows that you were not there and he is not your friend but your bitterest enemy. Then you will lose that ingredient and then you become ignorant and you will suffer as a result of that ignorance even while we are here in this world. 

 

In the book of Hosea 4:6, the Bible says “my people are destroyed for want of knowledge” this is a very strategic statement. Another damage for the late comers is that they miss the working or the business of the opening choruses. Where do you get the happiness from after the day’s labour and after the day’s pollution, where do you get the restoration, the revival, where will you get the encouragement? I am afraid, I am scared, very many people have fallen by the way side, and great men of God that I respected have fallen by the way side. Why then did he start only to fall away after 30 years of serving the Lord? 

 

When I returned to Lagos, there is somebody that I admired very highly in 1975 because of his ways. One of those people that I admired and even went to his house, and said, “I want to be your friend” because of how I admired the zeal and the spirit of God that he manifested. I returned to Lagos and went to withdraw money from the bank and I saw the man sandwiched in the midst of sycadelic women, women that I cannot describe. And I walked to him and we shook hands and then he managed to say in my local dialect “ekene dili chukwu“ (thanks be to God) that’s all. Close range with two women in the bank hall. I began to mourn, “Is it this person that will be speaking in tongues on the streets and would pass you and would not recognize that he’d passed you?” and I heard a voice say that he is backslidden. 

 

In this world we have not arrived. The world is full of dangers. This world can knock anybody away. The devil will use the opposite gender to knock you away. He can even use people of same sex to knock you away, do you know that there are very many women that are married but they are lesbians. They will come close to you wanting to be friends with you and before you know it they begin to introduce something. 

 

Do you know that marriage can make somebody say, “This is not what I bargained for, I am tired” how will you recover yourself if you don’t go to fellowship? When you come to fellowship and they sing electrifying songs that will make you return and say, “I will not leave Jesus” but you didn’t come when they were to sing the song. 

 

Another damage they do themselves is as written in 1samuel 2:27 (KJV)

“…And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house? And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel? Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people? 30 Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever:but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.”

 

If you treat God  without regard, he will do same to you. You’ll pray your prayers, he will not answer you. You can threaten him, “if you don’t answer me I will tear the Bible” and I hear him say, “tear the bible and burn, many more bibles are in the world. As you tear your another person will replace you and buy another one”. You don’t joke with the things that pertain to eternity because you want to eat food. You stay in the market on the day of fellowship, you remain there buying and selling. Now the things that will minister to you will go and you will be ignorant of it and you will lose. After reading this book, don’t make the mistake of being a late comer anymore and don’t make the mistake of missing fellowship anymore.

 

• HERE IS ANOTHER CATEGORY OF LATE COMERS, Matthew 19:27 (KJV)

“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.”

 

Here we find late comers that will replace early arrivals. Jesus warned his disciples of this unfortunate fate of some people. The first arrivals who would have put in the years of labours and toiling only to be replaced by these late comers. Do you know that late comers are coming in? Now they will turn around and be first because the early arrivals tumbled and fell away from the faith. Somebody can be first, and galloping only to get tired and drop by the way side, allowing those behind to take over. This was the prediction of Jesus. But he didn’t predict that it should happen to you. But it has to happen because some people are bound to remain adamant. 

 

Recently, Pakistan youths in their thousands received the bible and they were full of excitements to have received Jesus and went abroad distributing the bible. They are the late comers that may replace old ones but God forbids. I have talked to a team in the recent past, I told them, “the Lord wants you to join hands with me, but no person is indispensable, if you go, he will replace you, but he wants you”.  That is what I told them. I am not indispensable, if I die it will shake the watchman ministry, some people will not understand it and people will be cold that is true. But you know God, being God he can begin to go to individuals and then the person will see an angel in a revelation saying, “quit crying,  be you as men, I have taken my servant the business has not ended, and then he goes to the people, everybody is receiving revelation, the leaders are receiving revelation and then they come together and they say, “look, God has taken his servant, he says the business should continue” and they will pray and God will say this person is taking over like Joshua to take you people to where you are going. I am not indispensable. Let nobody do brag for God for any reason whatsoever. If you do so, Jesus said, stones will develop brain and begin to praise God. John the Baptist said, God will raise up children unto Abraham out of stones. If God can do these, if you move away, God will bring people from far places to replace you. If you chose that late comers will replace you, they will replace you. Late comers are coming in their numbers. I have told sincere children of God remain in a place of truth and listen to the person that you should listen to. Don’t listen to your mind, don’t listen to people that cannot tell you the truth because it will take truth for you to go to heaven. Late comers are coming but let not those late comers replace you. And don’t be a practical late comer and deny yourself of the goodies that you should have and then suffer some loss. 

• THE THIRD CATEGORY ARE LATE COMERS TO INSIGHT:

Don’t be a late comer to insight, late comers to what you should know and refuse to know and suffer huge loss or damage for not knowing it. Gehazi was late in knowing who he was serving. He thought he was just some man, he saw this man, he saw the ways of the man that this man was a man of God indeed, he was there and he saw the miracles. Can I tell you? It must be because of his ways that Elisha gave him his staff to place on the child that had died. There was no result. He was late in knowing who the master was. And even if he repented, he was already a leprous man.

 

In Luke 19, Jesus lamented and wept over Jerusalem because they were blind and chose to be blind, they were late in knowing the manner of person He was. Don’t be late in knowing where you belong to, don’t be late in knowing who you are following or what the watchman is all about because you are going to pay a price and there is no need for you to pay the price before you begin to know. This is for real, you don’t need to pay the price because if you pay the price, the scar is upon you. The pain has been taken and you cannot recover it. When I am telling you truths that are dug from the mind of God, truths that are special, what do you do? Hold tenaciously to that truth and use it for your benefit. And I have told you how you can do that. 

 

If you are somebody that listens and don’t ponder. You know, Mary was pondering these things (words of Jesus Christ) in her mind. Look at what this child that came out from my womb is saying, he is a strange person, he is not an ordinary person. I can see it. Now but we are here, we see the things that the Lord is doing, we hear the testimonies, you hear me saying that the Lord is telling me that I am going to Enugu and from there He will move the world. You think I am joking? Am I a mad man? You are asking me, “why Enugu?” I ask you why not? Are you the person that chooses where to go? 

 

This place is Imo state (the location of our ministry) and I am not from Imo state. And we’ve been here since the 1980s. Wherever God wants me to go, I go over there, if you don’t like it, you are making a huge mistake. And now you see the things that I am saying. Now somebody told you that when he had not even known God, that he loved a city and would be returning from holiday back to school and would feel literally like I am going to heaven; the joy that would fill my heart as if I was going to heaven. I didn’t understand then, I will itch to return to Enugu (a city in the eastern part of Nigeria). Now I understand, from Enugu to eligwe (heaven). 

 

Don’t think I am a crazy man, I don’t know what I am saying and you begin to say, ok are you going to die in Enugu? That is not what I told you. If you configure that and go and spread it, you have done yourself evil. I said we will remain there and continue to bombard the world until the rapture takes place. 

 

Meanwhile, how is it that somebody is so sure about the rapture? And you are not thinking. Don’t be late in knowing the truth, in having insight because you are going to suffer some loss.

 

Let me tell you about Judas. Judas was late in knowing who his master was. He was there but what made him not to know, his mind was clouded with the mundane and so he could not see. When his eyes opened was when they had condemned the master and he saw that the master was going to the gallows; the man was going to be pierced and tortured to death. Then he cried out, ahh! I am finished, I have sold out innocent blood, my master and the thing pained him, his eyes were opened late and he took the money that was intoxicating to him and went and said, “take it” and the people gave him a shocker of his life, “what is that to us, settle your matter, the deed has already been done” and in offense he threw the money, scattered it there and couldn’t contain the guilt, his eyes opened late and he went and hanged himself. 

 

If he had known Jesus earlier, he wouldn’t have done what he did. And he wouldn’t have suffered what he suffered. Don’t be late in having insight because disease fills the whole world and if you don’t have insight it can pick you out. 

 

There is something that I am going to show, it is not part of what we are saying but it is interesting. Let me branch and tell you that because that is insight and I am talking about being late to insight. 

 

I have told you that we are created in the image of God, in the creative image of God. So that you can create, I don’t know anybody who understand what I said. I told you that words create. That you can create, after all did He not give them procreation power. You can create. When awareness fills your heart and you know what you should know and then you will do the things that other people will not be able to do. 

Now, let’s show something from what the Lord Jesus Christ did so you will know how his mind was working. In Luke 19:28-35 (KJV) “And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem. And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them. And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? And they said, The Lord hath need of him. 35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon”.

 

I want to show you how the mind of the Lord Jesus was working. Peradventure you have been saying I want to have insight. We are living in a tight, wicked and complicated world and I need to have some kind of complicated faith and insight in order to be able to do some things. He had sent them on that errand knowing that he was the Lord of lords and the owner of the ends of the earth, the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the people and all them that dwell therein including their asses, that he owned them. He owned the asses, these people were care takers. It was this mindset that he had which made the thing to work. And there was nothing they could do because that knowledge overpowered their minds. 

 

I have a testimony of how that when I was only two years old in the Lord; I had taken somebody to church, he was a bus driver then. And the military people confiscated the bus and packed it in the military barracks for days. And when we went to collect the vehicle, we met a person whose vehicle was also collected and he said to us, “if you see the frog jump” and he wasn’t joking, the doubling and the flogging of the people whose vehicles were seized; the military people were doing that. And immediately as he told the story, my cousin’s husband began to quake, he was jittering, I saw the fear; I touched him and said follow me. My mind was another mind, he had not come to that level but I was only one year or two in the Lord. But I had known that I was a different person, what consumes this person will not consume me. That’s is what happened in the case of Jesus, that is insight. “come out” and he followed me, “you see that person, he is not a child of God, he is a sinner, they double him, they won’t double you”, “we are in a different world, in a different realm, he is in his world, the world of sinners, we are in the world of saints” and as I was talking, he brightened up. 

Before you know it, God brought a brother an army personnel. Who recognized me, after explaining what had happened, he took the number of the vehicle and went in to get the keys of the vehicle. And we drove off, and the man we met earlier saw us drive away, he was still waiting for his doubling. 

 

We cannot afford to be in church and having the bible and we are like people who don’t have the bible. If you are late to insight, you are going to suffer; you can even die prematurely if you are late to insight. A brother so read the word of God and then the thing became a charge like electric current, he listens to the word of God every time and in every place. The way it has taken him over. Now, that kind of person will illness come to stay in his body? There was another brother who knows the power in the word and then discouragement set in for one reason or the other and then he called his son that was nine years and gave him bible and he said, “stand before me and preach” and the boy opened the bible and began to talk to his father and then he recovered. We must return to Christianity. And then you are asking, “Daddy is this thing for real?” I say it is for real. Don’t be late to insight and don’t come late to church or anything that we are doing anymore. Read the word. 

 

Finally, song excites and make you to say, “Satan I burst you” when we are singing. But the effect doesn’t last. What lasts is the quantity, the volume of the word of God that is stored in you, that is what lasts. Some people wake up in the morning and all they do is sing throughout the time of their devotion. You will get nowhere. Satan does not fear singing. Read the word and give premium to rehearsal and meditation on the word. 

 

Don’t let late comers take your place because they are coming. I will do whatsoever that is necessary that I might have insight.

 

In Ephesians 1:15-19 (KJV) 

“Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power”  

 

That is the prayer of the Apostle to the Ephesians and that is my prayer for you, myself for the families. This present day needs that we do not come late to insight. The troubles are too much and you will agree with me that it is the strong that will carry the day. Don’t drop out by the way side, we are nearer our destination than when we commenced the journey. Don’t be late to insight. If there is any prayer that should be made every day, it is this matter of “Lord open the eyes of my understanding that I may see and know what belongs to me and what belongs to us”. Let me have my measure of the dockyard (salvation) experience. 

 

I don’t see really how anybody can stand this present world, who is late to insight. This present world is so deadly, it is so damning; the force is too high. Those of you that are overseas, there are places that if you compare them to where we are here now, you will find that this place is a holy place in comparison to the places, even some African countries, how can someone really stand in those places and raise his head up and say, “I am going to win souls in this place” that is the question I am asking. 

 

Notwithstanding what I see physically, there is something I am seeing with my mind’s eye, there is something that I know that the Lord is talking about”. How can somebody who is late to insight be able to believe that these people, “this my daughter that is looking un-salvable”, that she is salvable. This is not what anybody can joke with. Don’t be late to insight, even successful businessmen have some insights. They have some vision. They look inward and see something and pursue the something and get it and yet they don’t have the spirit of God. 

 

I plead with you and I encourage you; seek insight, seek for your eyes of understanding to be opened to what other people don’t know about Jesus, about the bible, about yourself, about eternity, about the faithfulness of God”, insight made me. 

 

In my first marriage, the father said, “Igbo (a tribe in eastern Nigeria) man does not marry Cross River (a state in Nigeria) person, over my dead body” but you know what, I didn’t pray plenty of prayer, I just knew within me that this man although having a strong mind is but a creature, a human being. The God that I serve will break him; I knew and I said it. I will wait to know who is stronger. At a point in time he was broken to pieces. Insight made that possible. 

 

The villages that are filled with evil, everybody is going wayward, old and young, how can those villages be broken when there is no insight as to who God is, the thing He has given us, who is the person that has given us these things? Was it not insight that made Jesus to say go and tell Herod that he is a fox? Is it for me alone? It is for everybody, it is for you. You can have insight, your eyes of understanding can open. 

 

Let us consider the first part of 1Corinthians 4:7 (KJV), “For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive?” This scripture is showing that it is God that maketh one to differ from another. Insight was what the prophet had, and the king of Syria sent soldiers to arrest him, and then the servant went out early in the morning and saw them. Alas master we are finished and the master said go and sit down. Without the spirit of God you cannot have insight. He is the one that changes the mind. It was the spirit of God that was in the prophet that made him to see and tell his servant not to worry. God is the one that maketh his servants to differ one from another. 

 

I pray that the spirit of God that grants insights possess each and every one of us. Let him enter the children of the kingdom; let him enter us and open our eyes of understanding that we may see as we should and think as we should, in the proper perspective, like David, and like Joshua and Caleb who had insights, they saw the giants, and the challenges but also they saw the God of Jacob, the mighty God of Israel, they saw over and above what these other people saw, and they shouted, let’s go at once and conquer the land and take it. 

 

Christians should be people of insights. Living is not necessary without insight. Nobody can cut down an Iroko tree with a pen knife, a kitchen knife. In that day Peter said, thou art the Christ the son of the living God, and Jesus Christ said, “blessed art thou Simon son of Jonas, flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto you. At that time the spirit was not given, the spirit from outside opened the eyes of this man that he may know. 

Now that the Spirit has been given, I pray that God would let his Spirit hover over all his children in all the places where they are and give them insights. 

 

In this present day that we have people that got anointing through sin, we need to have insight to be able to tell them to get out. When Apostle Paul saw the lady that was operating with the spirit of divination and that spirit wanted to play some prank and spoke the truth, “these are men of God who have come to show us the way to salvation” that was the truth but there was something behind it. Paul knew “even though you have said the truth but you have a sinister motive, when we go and we didn’t attend to the matter, now the woman will begin to do all those things and more people will follow. Hence, he commanded to evil spirit to leave the damsel. 

 

Insight will make somebody go to a place where there is no gospel, where there is no church, in a location in this world and say a church must grow here; people must follow the Lord Jesus Christ here. Somebody must move from one level to another. Let me ask you, “can you remain on the first step of a stair case and reach the first floor?” insight will make a young lady to say, “I have a sacred body and nobody who is not my husband will desecrate it”, insight will make a woman to say, “I am so big, I am so sacred that I cannot talk evil to my husband; and make a man to say I am so sacred, I cannot lift up my hand and smite my wife”. 

 

Poor souls beat their wives, poor souls slap their husbands. Poor souls get offended in church. You cannot go anywhere when you cannot see where you are going. The apostle by insight knew he had finished his work and to know where he was going. It was insight that made Mary Magdalene not to leave the tomb. To the people that were late to insight, Jesus Christ says, “fools, poor souls”.

 

Let me tell you this, the person that you are following, “I had insight when I was not born again”. It is not a joke. They will go and do the ajah (sacrifice) which the native doctor will ask them to do and put money inside the basket, two pence or three. And I will come there and say, if these devils eat money, why is this money inside this basket for four days. I will go and take the money, clean it and use it to buy groundnut. They don’t eat money. This people are foolish people. That is how I got my pocket money. Insight! Even when I was not born again, God made it to work. 

 

They placed juju (charm) on the trunk of the pear tree, and I came there, cut a piece of stick and said to the juju, “juju, see the stick that brought down the pear, it is not me”, kill this stick and I knew the man that put the juju, he was a very terrible man living near us, “I said kill the stick it is not me. One day, I went far into the place where people are no more living and it was thundering and raining. And I climbed the big tree and I dared the thunder and the lightening and brought plenty pear to the house. Why didn’t the devil kill me? “Because God knew that I was saying the truth. 

 

In my place, you don’t kill the royal python; if you kill it they kill you. A brother became born again and then the thing was coming, he went and took his knife and killed it. And nothing happened to him. 

 

Today, people are running from witches and wizards, these are poor souls. No! They ought to run away from you. This is the truth, but today, they are complaining that there are witches and wizards in the place and then they will relocate to a different area. My friend, those witches and wizards will come there and pursue you still. As a pastor, wanting to go and plant churches in the village, you need insight to do so. I pray that God grant insight to the people.
