Praise the Lord. Praise the living God. We bless the name of the Lord once again.

I would like us to stand on our feet and open our hymn books to hymn number 156. Hymn number 156, let us join the music ministry as we prepare our hearts to receive from the presence of the Lord.

Hymn number 156: Send a Great Revival.

Praise the Lord. Coming down to Thee, O Christ my Lord, just and only need Thy precious Word. Let my humble prayer to Thee be heard, and send a great revival in my soul.

Send a great revival in my soul. Send a great revival in my soul. Let the Holy Spirit come and take control, and send a great revival in my soul.

Send a great revival in my soul. Send the Holy Spirit now within, burning out the cross and guilt of sin. Let Thy mighty words of grace begin, O send a great revival in my soul.

Send a great revival in my soul. Send a great revival in my soul. Let the Holy Spirit come and take control, and send a great revival in my soul.

Send a great revival in my soul. Send a great revival in me. Help me that I may rejoice in Thee.

Lead me straight to win the victory, and send a great revival in my soul. Send a great revival in my soul. Send a great revival in my soul.

Let the Holy Spirit come and take control, and send a great revival in my soul. Let me go from Thee, dear Lord, today, to some lonely soul that’s gone astray. Help me lead them in the homeward way, O send a great revival in my soul.

Send a great revival in my soul. Send a great revival in my soul. Let the Holy Spirit come and take control, and send a great revival in my soul.

Send a great revival in my soul. Send a great revival in my soul. Let the Holy Spirit come and take control, and send a great revival in my soul.

Who has not left us destitute? Who has not abandoned us to our fate? Who is watching over us, and is intervening in our affairs on time? Heavenly Father, this is the time of redemption. This is the time of refreshing. This is the time of revival.

This is the time when the gospel of the kingdom shall resound once again. Therefore, everlasting king, I ask that you straight forth your right hand of power upon the instruments that you have chosen to use, even at this close of the age. That you straight forth your hands and pour out your Spirit upon us.

And release your unction, even your anointing. That the physician that you have chosen to use to heal others might first be healed. Let the mighty hand of God be made manifest in the lives of his people.

And let the glory of God be seen on every aspect of our being. Lord, we lift up your name on high. And we are asking that you kindle upon us the fire of your love.

The glory of your majesty. The power, oh God, that will make us unstoppable at such a time as this. We give you glory and praise.

We know and are sure that it is your good pleasure to give us the kingdom. Therefore, go ahead, bless the redeemer. And make out of us the fiery instruments you have chosen to use.

In Jesus’ victorious name we pray. And amen. The theme of the message is the challenges of our times.

The ministry of the watchman and the children of the ministry. The challenges of our times. The ministry of the watchman and the children of the ministry.

The text before us today is Matthew chapter 24, verse 1 to 4, and verse 11 to 13. Matthew 24, verse 1 to verse 4, and verse 11 to verse 13. And Jesus went out and departed from the temple.

And his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

In Romans chapter 2, we’re going to read from verse 1 to verse 24. Romans chapter 2, from verse 1. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest. For wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself.

For thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them who commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them who do such things and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart, treacherous unto thyself, wrought against the day of wrath, and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to every man according to his deeds.

To them who by patient continuance in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he gives eternal life. But unto them that are contentious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness and indignation and wrought, he will give tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek. But glory, honor, and peace to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without the law shall also perish without the law. And as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law.

For not the hearers of the law are justified before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles who have not the law do by nature the things contained in the law, these having not the law are alone to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the meanwhile accusing or else excusing one another. In the day when God shall judge the secrets of man by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

But if thou art called a Jew, and rested in the law, and makest thy boast of God, and knowest his will, and approves the things that are more excellent being instructed out of the law, and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light to them who are in darkness, an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of birds who has the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. Thou therefore who teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? Thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? Thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonorest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you as it is written. Romans chapter 8 from verse 1 to 19.

Romans chapter 8 from verse 1 to 19. There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin condemned sin in the flesh. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh, but they that are after the spirit, the things of the spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then, they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But you were not in the flesh but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now, if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness.

But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors not to the flesh to live after the flesh. For if you live after the flesh, you shall die.

But if you through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are laid by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. If so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the annexed expectation of the creation waited for the manifestation of the sons of God. One of the major challenges of our time, the very tail end of the church age, is that the outworking of the mystery of iniquity has produced abounding iniquity throughout the rank and files of the human race.

And no one is spared. The resultant effect on the church, the universal church of Christ, at this end time, is that the captain has become a captain and the deliverer now needs deliverance. The great falling away prior to the coming of Jesus back to this world is here with us.

Jesus sent his disciples, that is the church, into the world to do exactly what his father sent him to do. In Isaiah chapter 61, we get the picture of the commission that the church received at the hand of the master. Isaiah chapter 61, this book primarily of the Lord Jesus Christ and then he extended the same commission unto us as we shall see.

The spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord had anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all that mourn, to appoint unto those who mourn in Zion to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called the trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified, and they shall build the old west, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the west cities, the desolations of many generations. In John chapter 20 and verse 21, we see Jesus, our Lord and Savior, extending this commission that he received at the hand of the Father unto us, the church.

John chapter 20, verse 21 and 22. Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you. As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

And when he had said this, he breathed upon them, and said unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit. The same paraclete, the same helper that was made available to him while he walked upon the earth. The same quickening spirit of the living God that helped him to achieve the purpose of God in his life and ministry.

As soon as he handed over to us the same commission he received, he also made available to us the same quickening spirit, the same helper, the same comforter, the same paraclete. As soon as he said, As my Father hath sent me, so send I you. The next thing he did was to breathe upon them and now said, Receive ye the Holy Spirit.

So he equipped the church to carry on the commission while he returned to heaven. To go on to preach the gospel to the meek, to the poor, to the ones in prison, to the people that were bound, to the people that were sick, to all the people that were in one terrible, hurting condition or the other, the ones that were in the cage of Satan, to bring deliverance to the captives. The same thing he was given to do, which he accomplished on the cross, was now to be disseminated and enforced and appropriated in the lives of people.

So he handed to us, the church, this commission. Unfortunately, like Amaziah of old, the people of God of our time have brought home the gods of the enemies of God that they were sent to conquer. They have set up these gods upon altars and are bowing down to these gods to worship them.

That’s a very, very unfortunate situation. In 2 Chronicles chapter 25, let’s look at verse 14. 2 Chronicles chapter 25 and verse 14.

And it came to pass, after Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir and set them up to be his gods and bowed down himself before them and burned incense unto them. What a disaster. Somebody that went to fight with a people.

Each people had their own gods. The children of Israel had Jehovah as their god and the children of Edom had their own gods, idols, which they carried about in their wares and in their pockets. Each person depended on the supernatural to help, to bring victory.

But now the Almighty God, the creator of the ends of the earth, Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, gave victory unto his people and they overran the Edomites. They slaughtered them. It was with a great slaughter.

And as they were stripping the spoils for themselves, they discovered charms. They discovered amulets. They discovered idols that the people had wrapped about their wares and put in their pockets and had believed and depended on to save them and give them victory, which unfortunately failed them.

But this victorious army of God, now as they were stripping for themselves valuables, they saw these gods and collected them, returned to Jerusalem and re-adopted altars for these gods, placed their gods, their idols there, and began to bow down to them and worship, began to offer incense unto them. What kind of human beings would that be? You may say, what kind of disaster would that be? But that’s exactly what we, the church, at this close of the age, that’s what we have done. That’s what we are doing.

And it is unfortunate. In our generation, there is hardly any difference between Amaziah and us by the reason of the unfortunate things we have done. There is hardly any person that can tell the difference between the person that is serving God now and the person that is not serving God.

Christendom in our times is full of multitudes who are almost all their lifetime breaking the third commandment, the third commandment that God gave Moses to give unto his people. Our generation of the church of Christ, the generation of the church that is living at the tail end of the church age, is now habitually breaking the third commandment. Let’s look at what God commanded in Exodus chapter 20 verse 7. Exodus chapter 20 verse 7. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.

For the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. When we were growing up, we were taught in the catechisms not to take the name of the Lord our God in vain. And it was explained to us that we shouldn’t call the name of God, we shouldn’t call him in vain.

You are joking, you are playing with your friend or something and then you call the name of the God of heaven that you have broken that law. But that is not true. That’s not so.

That is not what that place is saying. Any person that comes unto the Lord, comes over to the Lord in repentance, in regeneration, in genuine salvation experience, has been brought into the household of God as a child of the family, as a member of the family. He has been adopted into the family of God.

And having been adopted into that family and having become a bona fide member of that family, the name of that family will now be taken by this newly adopted person as his own name, as his own surname. Just like those of us that are born into our various families. Because we have been born into that family, we are given the name of the family.

We take that name that we have been given. And anywhere you go and somebody asks you, who are you? You will say, I am Bede, Ogu. Or you talk about your own name, your first name, the one you are given, and then the last name or the surname is your family name.

The name or the identity of your family. You take it and you go about wherever you are found to identify yourself with that name. That is what it means to take God’s name.

So when you are born into the family of God, you begin to identify with God as a child of God. The name of God is now upon you. You are identified as a member of his family.

Jesus Christ is the head of all that are in the family, the children of God. And we are identified with his name. We are called Christians.

We are called children of God. We are identified with God’s family and God’s name. That identity of God becomes our identity.

The time that the disciples of Christ were given the name or the title Christians, the people observed them. They saw the life of Christ in them. They saw the love of Christ in them.

They saw the relationship of Christ in them. They saw the mercy, the compassion. They saw the forgiving spirit and everything that they had heard about Christ.

They saw the power of Christ in them. They saw the glory of Christ in them. They saw the anointing that was flowing in his life.

They saw it in them. And they said, look, these people are like Christ. And they called them Christians, like Christ.

They had been identified with Christ even by that. So that is how somebody that says he’s born again, you come to a place that you are new and they ask you, who are you? And you mention your name, and then you mention that you are a child of God. They ask you your mission.

You talk about it and all that. You identify with the God of heaven. And then you are called by his name.

God says, now you are my children. I have given you my name. Take that name, but don’t take it in vain.

For if you take that name in vain, I will never hold you guiltless. In other words, you become liable to the hammer of God. When you answer a child of God and it is in vain.

In Proverbs chapter 30, let’s see the proper explanation to taking the name of the Lord in vain. Proverbs 30, verse 7 to verse 9. Proverbs chapter 30, verse 7 to verse 9. Two things have I required of thee. Deny them not to me before I die.

The writer of this chapter, even the man Agor, is praying to God and is asking him for two favors. He said, please don’t deny me these two things. Number one, remove far from me vanity and lies.

Number two, give me neither poverty nor riches, but feed me with food that is convenient for me. Lest I be fooled and deny thee and say, who is the Lord? Or lest I be poor and steal and take the name of my God in vain. When somebody that is called by the name of the Lord, for whatever reason, maybe lack, maybe poverty, maybe whatsoever thing, he goes to steal and he is caught as a thief.

And then behold, this is a pastor. This is a worker in church. This is a deliverance minister.

This is a music minister. This is somebody that has been known to have taken the name of the Lord. The word of God says, he has taken it in vain.

And Exodus 27 says, the Lord will not hold such a person guiltless. Now, some take the name of God and are called Christians. They are called children of God.

But they live in sins of diverse shades and colors. Some take the name of the Lord and are called Christians, children of God. But while they avoid the big sins, the sin of adultery, the sin of stealing, the sin of murder, and so on, they maintain very antagonistic and toxic relationships with others.

Some people are living in outright sin, blatantly and with impudent faces. Everywhere they go, they manifest the odious nature of Satan. Yet, they are parading themselves as children of God.

Too bad. But some others, they avoid the big sins. But when you come close to them, they sting like the bee.

They bite like the other. In Matthew chapter 22, let’s look at the provisions that the Lord has made, what he expects. Verse 35 of Matthew chapter 22.

Then one of them who was a lawyer asked him a question, testing him and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the first and the great commandment. And the second is like the first.

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Loving the Lord with all your soul and with all your heart, being dedicated to him, committed to him, that’s good, that’s expected, that’s acceptable.

But Jesus didn’t stop at that. The man asked him for the greatest, one commandment. He stated that this is the first and the greatest and I give you the second.

The first cannot go without the second and the second cannot go without the first. They are two sides of one coin. The one face of a coin cannot exist alone.

So you have to love your neighbor as yourself. And in the book of John, Jesus amended this provision that was made in the Old Testament law. So in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse 5, that is where it was stated.

You love the Lord with all your heart and all that. Now he said, it is not as you love yourself, but you love your neighbor as I have loved you. The measure, the thing that you will use to assess your love and check whether it is acceptable or not is my own law for you.

Put it side by side and you will know whether it is acceptable. James chapter 3 verse 11 to 18. The epistle of James chapter 3 verse 11.

That a fountain sent forth at the same place sweet water and bitter. Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear only berries, either a vine, bear figs? So can no fountain yield both salt water and fresh water? Who is a wise man and endowed with knowledge among you, let him show out of a good life his works and meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envies and strife in your hearts, glory not and lie not against the truth.

This wisdom descended not from above, but is earthly, it is sensual, it is demonic. For where envying and strife are, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by them that make peace. So, if you have come over to the lost side and you have become a member of his family, God is saying from your heart, from your life, salt water cannot flow forth and then fresh water will flow at the same time. You know, it’s not possible.

The sauce cannot yield these two different kinds of water. So, he says, when you have come to the Lord and you have been made wise unto salvation, that wisdom should be coupled with meekness and it should show forth God’s nature in your life. But if you have accepted to be wise unto salvation and you are now a child of God, but there is yet bitter envying in your life, there is yet strife and all manner of evil works.

He says that wisdom is not from heaven, it’s not from above. When you are claiming you are wise unto salvation, but there is still envy in your life, there is still bitterness, there is rancor, there is strife. He said there is no heavenly wisdom there.

He said that wisdom is earthly, that wisdom is sensual, that wisdom is demonic. It does not proceed from God. So, in Matthew chapter 5 verse 20, Jesus said, Matthew 5, 20, For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

You have heard that it was said by them of old, Thou shalt not kill. And whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of judgment. But I say unto you, that whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment.

And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raka, shall be in danger of the council. But whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore, if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there are remembrance that thy brother has anything against you, leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way.

First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer thy gifts. Agree with your adversary quickly, while thou art in the way with him. Lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the office, and thou be cast into prison.

Verily I say unto you, Thou shall by no means come out from there, till thou hast paid the uttermost burden. You have heard that it was said by them of old, Thou shall not commit adultery. But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery with her already in his heart.

And if thy right hand offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee. For it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee.

For it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. It has been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement. But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery.

And whosoever shall marry her that is divorced, committeth adultery. Now, verse 38, of the same Matthew chapter 5, we read, But let your communication be yes, yes, or no, no. For whatever is more than this, is committed from the evil one.

You have heard that it had been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. But I say unto you, that you resist not evil. But whosoever shall smite thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

And if any man will sue thee at the law, to take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him too. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow from thee, turn not thou away.

You have heard that it has been said, Thou shall love thy neighbor, and hate your enemy. But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you. That you may be the sons of your father, who is in heaven.

For he maketh his son to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust. But if you love them that love you, what reward have you? Do not even tax collectors the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the heathen so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your father who is in heaven is perfect. From the things we have read in these scriptures, we notice that the relationship with fellow human beings stand at par to determine our eternal destiny with the relationship with God.

If you have a relationship with God, you love Him, you are interested in His house, you are committed, you put all your effort, your labor, everything, you spend your time in the house of God, pursuing the projects of God, and there are many, many things that you are doing to prove that you really love God with all your life. That is good. But at the same time, you should turn around and check your relationship with human beings, men and women around you.

How do you relate with them? Do you relate with them with strife, with envy, with hatred? Do you relate with them and you are not interested in whatever happens to them? If you say, the word of God says in the book of James, that you love God that you have not seen, but your relationship with human beings that you see is aure, is odious. It says you are just deceiving yourself. It’s a lie that you are telling.

If you don’t love human beings that you are seeing, how can you claim to love God who you do not see? So, relationship with human beings will determine the eternal destiny of people of God. Jesus Christ said, the greatest of the law, your relationship with God. So the second is like the first, your relationship with human beings.

How do you relate with people, even in the same arm of the ministry where you are? There are people, whether they be in the music ministry, or in the prayer ministry, they are, you know, deliverance ministers, or they are preachers, or they are in one arm of the ministry or the other, that other people within the same ministry, they don’t see eye to eye with them. They do not relate freely with them. They are constrained in their love toward them.

They are just managing to greet. Good morning, sister. Good morning, brother.

They force a smile upon their face, but their heart is not at peace with them. God is saying, every other thing you are doing is dependent on this. Your relationship with people matters a lot.

But there are some that are so much filled with evil in their heart, with hatred, with malice. They are so much filled with poison in their hearts that when their mouth speaks, it is like an arrow. It goes out like a dagger.

Their mouth, their tongues sting like bees. Now, some others take the name of the Lord, and they are called Christians. We are talking about the things that are happening in church, happening in church.

And this church is the instrument God has chosen to work in the world, and to bring them back to himself. Now, they are called Christians, but they love the world. They are called Christians.

They love the things that the world is churning out. But they value the things that the world values, and they esteem the things that the world esteems. In Luke chapter 16 and verse 15, Jesus Christ said, he said, everything that is highly esteemed among men is abominable in the sight of God.

When they are excited about this land, about that land, about this fashion, about that fashion, about this dance step, about the other dance step, about this way of life, they are excited about it. Everybody is carrying it on, and everybody is engaging in it and buying it. A child of God should know that such things that are trending in the world among the people that are devoid of the spirit of God cannot and should not trend for them.

It should not be what they should be looking for. Such people that esteem what the world esteems are carried about by every wind of new fashion, every new slang, some so-called, you know, influencers in the Internet. They will just, as they are talking, they will manufacture something.

They will put a slang, and before you know it, everybody is now making use of that slang. Everybody is making use of that slang, and children of God, people of God, will come across such slang. They are also as excited as the people of the world, and they begin to make use of that slang.

You know, we know our brothers and our sisters. This one is brother this, the other one is sister that, or bro this, or sis that. But, you know, somebody somewhere, you know, just woke up, and in his conversation, he just looked at the other person, and he called him bro, bro.

Right now, everybody is bro, bro. Even people in church, they will see their brother. Instead of calling him brother, he’s now bro.

That’s very, very unfortunate. Now, there are people that are struggling with us, even on their wedding day. Their problem is they have learned a new dance step.

In the internet, they have seen how such a person or another person, there is this kind of dance that they did as they were waiting. Now, they went to, you know, London. They want to dance that kind of dance in their own wedding.

They want to do it exactly as they saw the people of the world do. Such is very, very terrible. By so doing, such people make themselves enemies of God.

Imagine somebody that is supposed to be a child of God, now officially being labeled the enemy of God. How do you feel when your first son or your first daughter that is supposed to be a loved child of yours, now turns out to be your enemy? Those are the people in church. Imagine that.

They are called by God’s name. Christians, yes, but they have turned out to be the enemies of God. What a paradox.

What an ironic. In 1 John 2, verse 12, 1 John 2, verse 12, I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you. For his name’s sake, I write unto you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning.

I write unto you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because you have known the Father. Verse 15, love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.

If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust of it, but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

The three categories of people that make up any given society were addressed in that letter from the apostle John. He said, little children, the children are addressed. He says, young men, the youths are addressed.

He said, fathers, the elders, the adults, you are either a child, or you are a youth, or you are an adult. These are the three categories that make up any given society. The same letter, the same warning, the same demand is made on all the three.

For little children, love not the world. For youths, love not the world. For adults, love not the world.

That’s why he specified the three categories. This demand is sacrosanct. This demand is not negotiable.

In James chapter 4, and verse 4, James 4, 4, You adulterers, and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God, whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. In 2 Corinthians chapter 6, verse 14 to 18, 2 Corinthians chapter 6, verse 14 to 18, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? What concord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has he that believeth with an infidel? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.

As God has said, I will dwell in them, I will walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore, come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord. And touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.

And I will be a father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. The condition of God receiving any person that is called a child of God, that is called a Christian, that is called a member of his household, the condition of God receiving him and being his God, being his father, is that he does not join himself with the people that know not God, to do the things they are doing, to live the way they are living. He separates himself from their ways.

He says, come out from among them, and be separate, and touch not the unclean thing. The unclean thing they do. Don’t touch it.

It is only on that condition that I will receive you, and be your father, and be your God. Then you will be my sons and my daughters. The prince of this world comes around, and in all such enemy come people of God.

They are enemies of God, but at the same time, they are also called people of God, the people that are inclined to the world and the things of the world. To such people, the prince of this world will find his properties. He will find his thought pattern.

He will find his value system. He will find the things that he has given to his agents, to his own children. He will find it in them.

He will find the pride of life. He will find the things that are associated with this world that will perish. He will find it in them.

But consider what Jesus said, the testament of Jesus in John chapter 14, verse 30. He said, the prince of this world comes, but he has nothing in me. If you be a child of God, if you be a brother of Jesus, if you be the same person you are to God is the same person that Jesus is to him, a son, a daughter, then the same testimony that Jesus had should be your testimony.

If the devil comes around and peeps into your life and peeps into your habits, peeps into the way you do things, the way you talk, the way you behave, the way you carry yourself, will he see pride? Will he see any of his properties in you? Will he see arrogance? Will he see evil speaking, reviling? Will he see the things that mark his own? Will he see in you? For Jesus, he comes, and any day he comes, he doesn’t find any of his property. That should be your testimony. That should be my testimony.

The main problem with all such people is that they have been in church, but they have not really encountered the power of the resurrection. They have been in church, but they have not encountered this power at all, at all. The power of the resurrection is the spirit of holiness.

When somebody comes to church, maybe what brought him was sickness or one need or the other in his life, and he comes, and then he’s impressed by what he saw. He got the need in his life met, and then he continues to come and becomes acquainted with the way of life of the people. He begins to pray as they pray.

He begins to sing as they sing. He begins to, you know, do the things that they are doing. He comes among them.

He is not one of them, but he has no encounter with the spirit of holiness. That’s a problem. Or he is born in the church.

His father, his mother, her father, her mother, has been a member of the church and got married, wedded, and then the gate Simoha. And of course, from the womb, he started coming to church. And after he was born, you know, he now began to be brought.

He was dedicated in the church, and from childhood, he has been coming and going, coming and going. But he has not encountered the power that made his father a child of God, that made his mother a daughter of the living God. And until such encounter is had, he has no business with God.

He is just a member of the committee of friends. He is just a member of the social organization that gather and meet and rejoice and sing and dance and pray and go away. But if you must have your name registered as a child of God, you must have encounter with the spirit of holiness.

In Romans chapter one, verse one to four, the book of Romans, the power of the resurrection must come upon you and quicken you and make you a child of God. Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, which he had promised before by his prophets in the Holy Scriptures, concerning his son Jesus Christ, our Lord, who was made of the seed of David, according to the flesh, verse four, and declared to be the son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Is the resurrection from the dead by the oppression of the spirit of holiness that somebody is transformed into a child of God.

Even Jesus himself, he was declared a son of God with power by these same means. Alternatively, some people may have encountered the power of the resurrection but with time. The impact of such encounters was not maintained.

We are talking about why the church, the universal church in the world today, at this time, why it is the way it is. Why there are so many scandals among pastors, among evangelists, among prophets. I am not talking about the ones that are actually messengers of Satan.

I’m not talking about those ones. I’m not talking about the ones that are emissaries of the devils who have been set up by the devil himself and they are there, you know, walking contrary to the spirit of grace. I’m not talking about those ones.

I’m talking about people that are in genuine churches whose lives are terrible, whose lives are contrary to the life of God, who pursue things and do things that put Jesus to shame and crucify him openly afresh. I’m talking about such people. Now, there are others who have encountered the power of the resurrection but with time, that impact wanes.

They didn’t maintain it and so the nasty nature of the natural man, as our Jews would call the Adamic nature, that nasty nature of the natural man has resurfaced. They did not take their time to deal with the Adamic nature in them, the besetting sins of their lives. Instead, they have justified them and so nurtured and strengthened them to resurface and to hold sway.

Yes, such people, they had a salvation experience. They had an initial encounter and they became born again but they didn’t take time to pursue, to maintain their relationship with God and so the things resurfaced. The Adamic nature came back.

All that you need today is to acknowledge your offense, your deplorable condition. All you need is to acknowledge the situations, the awful, the pitiable situation in your life, how you are struggling with sin and you are being somersaulted by it. You need to tell yourself the truth.

You need to open yourself up before the living God and say, this is the way it has been with me. I am supposed to manifest your glory. I am supposed to manifest your nature but look at me.

Look at the situation. Look at how it is with me. When you open yourself and you acknowledge your offense, you acknowledge your deplorable condition, now you cry out.

You rend your heart and cry out to God and today, the almighty God will respond to you without delay. You see, this situation is universal. Almost everywhere in the world you go, you find scandalous lives of people who should be exemplary in the society.

You find situations that are awful in the lives of people who should be the deliverers of others and it was for this reason that the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement was born in due time. It was for this purpose and God made us know through his servant in Isaiah chapter 49 verse 5 and verse 6. He said, and now saith the Lord who found me from the womb to be his servant to bring Jacob again to him. Jacob is the church of God, the children of God that have backslidden, that have deteriorated, that have strayed far from God.

He said he formed us from the womb, even the Watchman, all over the globe. He laid hands on us even before we were born and brought us for this purpose to bring back the straying church, the church that has deteriorated, that has dissembled and even joined the camp of the enemy, the people that are called children of God but as a matter of fact they have become the enemies of God. He said, though this has not been actualized now, but he said, the person, the instrument of God who you said shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord and my God shall be my strength.

And then God said, it is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the Gentiles that thou mayest be my salvation unto the ends of the earth. So today as we respond to the things that the Lord has in store for us today, we should realize that God in his infinite mercy has raised up this movement to bring back the backslidden Jacob to him to be a light and a model in the midst of this chaos that we have noted, the midst of the darkness that has filled the world.

And to use us as a means or a channel of salvation unto the ends of the earth. Look in and look around us. Unfortunately, you will discover that though this be the purpose of God in raising us up, though he had anointed us to be a physician that will heal others, but you now see that the physician has need of healing.

You now discover that the physician must first be healed. And there are, I mean, shouting evidences that the physician must need be healed. So today, the Lord has filled me with his power to prophesy to you as Ezekiel was quickened to do, even to raise the people who scattered as bones in the open valley.

In Ezekiel chapter 37, Ezekiel 37, from verse 1, The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, and he caused me to pass by them round about, and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy, prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord, thus saith the Lord God unto these bones.

Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live, and I will lay sinus upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded, and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to each bone, and when I behaved low, the sinus and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above, but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thou saith the Lord God, come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they might live.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, and exceeding great. Amen. Then the Lord said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel.

Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, our hope is lost, and we are cut off on our path. Therefore prophesy, and say unto them, Thou saith the Lord God, Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and I will cause you to come up out of your graves, and I will bring you into the land of Israel, and you shall know that I am the Lord. When I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put my spirit in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land, then shall you know that I the Lord have spoken it, and I have performed it.

Sayeth the Lord. The Lord has made up his mind to change the narrative as it is in the world today. He had decided to wake up the giant that has been in coma.

I remember the vision that was given to a man of God somewhere in Argentina, and this vision was published in a book written by an American missionary and his wife, Charles and Frances Hunter. I remember that vision that was shared in that book vividly. In that vision, he said he was taken up in the spirit to view the situation in the end time, and he saw a giant, a giant that is not anywhere found in this world, a giant that if he stood up, his head will reach the clouds, and his leg will be on the earth, but lo and behold, this giant was lying lifelessly on the ground, and then a number of small, small animals were moving up and down on his body, kind of the things that would cause putrefaction, that would cause decay.

They were just running up and down and moving from his head, his eyes, his mouth, his nose, his body, everywhere, but as he was looking at this giant that was dead, he began to notice that at intervals, that giant would move a hand, which means it was not altogether dead. There was still life remaining, and then at another point, he will move the mouth. He will shake the head and all that, and then suddenly, he saw some things happening in heaven, and some crystal balls like balls of gold and precious stones were falling from heaven and upon this giant that was there, and as the thing was falling and washing him and energizing him, suddenly the giant was raised up.

He woke up and stood up, and then as he stood up, he said, that giant, one person, now melted and become thousands and millions of human beings, of the average size of human beings, and they were running everywhere, and wherever they were going, wherever they went, there was the power of God there and all that. He said he saw particularly a man from Africa, from among the crowd that rose from this giant, a man from Africa came up, and then a band of other men following him. He said they were so particularly anointed, so particularly filled with power and glory that wherever they went, the fire of God began to, you know, ignite in those places.

Wherever they went, the power of God was made manifest, and they were going. He said he saw ordinary men. He said he saw ordinary men.

He saw carpenters. He saw plumbers. He saw, I mean, the down and the out in the society, not great men, not statesmen, not people of renown, but people of low degree that they came out and were following this man, and everywhere they went, fire was with them.

He said, whosoever they laid their hands, any sickness would just, you know, vanish. Whatever condition of the person, they would speak. People would be raised.

The dead would be raised. Lepers were cleansed. Every manner of miracles were happening.

He said he saw the something, and he said what thrilled him was that the man was from Africa. I want to let us know that God in 1961 had talked about the time of the revival, this end of the age, using the watchmen. He has spoken.

He has seen ahead of time. Remember he said, even before we were born, he has chosen us, and he has called us to be his servants. A number of revelations and visions and dreams are confirming this thing that the watchman is a brand.

The watchman has been duly cut out, selected, empowered to be at the forefront at a time like this to champion the restoration of the church of God, to champion, they recall, the return of Jacob that has strayed afar. Now, that body, that group of people that have been chosen to do this cannot afford to just lie on the ground and be in coma. They can’t afford it.

Before you can be used to cause revival, you must have revived yourself. Before you can be used to minister to another person and give him life, then that zoe must be in you. That life must be in you because you cannot give what you do not have.

So, in this Easter retreat message, I give you to understand that God has programmed to quicken us, the watchmen, by the spirit of grace. He has programmed to quicken us by the power of the resurrection. Looking at the dry bones that are scattered in the open valley, as it were, it looks as though there is no hope.

But because God has seen your hopeless inability to help yourself, he has decided to bring help. He has decided to bring hope by himself. In Isaiah 59 verse 15, Isaiah 59 verse 15, God said, Yeah, truth faileth.

And he that departed from evil maketh himself a prey. And the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. And he saw that there was no man, and he wondered that there was no intercessor.

Therefore his arm brought salvation unto him, and his righteousness sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head. And he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fully to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies. To the coastlands he will repay recompense. So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun.

When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto those who turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord.

My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed’s seed. Saith the Lord from henceforth and forever. That is what the Lord has programmed to do.

We have read already in Ezekiel 37 verse 11 to 14. He says, I will break open your graves. Somebody that has died, somebody that has been buried, whose grave has been sealed with stone.

God says, I will break that stone open, and I will curse you. It’s not that he will break it and leave us to ourselves to struggle to come out. He said he will break it open, and he will curse us to do what? To come up out of the grave.

And he will fill us with his spirit, and he will make us to rise up an exceeding great army. No wonder in Joel chapter 2, and verse 28, he says, in the last days, I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh. So the Lord is ready to pour out his spirit upon every one of us to quicken us from the dead, to energize us, to fill us with his glory, and to position us to be used at this last day revival.

Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24 verse 14, saying, And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the earth. The gospel of the kingdom shall be preached once again. It’s not going to be business as usual.

It’s not going to be gospel of prosperity and gospel of all the things that are presenting another Christ, presenting a different Christ, not the Christ that saves, not the Christ that delivers, not the Christ that changes lives. You just come as you are, and you remain as you are. That is the gospel that is making the rounds.

But he says, at this close of the age, the thing that is going to round off the error, the age that we are into, is a flourishing once again of the gospel of the kingdom. It shall be in all the earth. And we have been chosen to champion it.

We have been chosen to be in the forefront. Multitudes of other organizations, other fellowships are involved. But God has said, for every watchman that is alive on the earth today, you open yourself up because the wind of the spirit is about to blow.

So, are you in the grave of sin that has conquered you, that has tied you by the spirit of God, by the power of the resurrection? I break open that grave now, and I set you free. I command you to come out of that grave and be filled with the resurrection power. Be filled with the spirit of holiness.

Be filled. In the name of Jesus Christ. Have you lost the battle? Even in your struggle with the world? With all the war that is raging against your soul in the internet, all the pornography that fills the places, all the trending and alluring things, they have held you, they have conquered you, and they are making you to be delinquent and godless.

All the glories of the world have now caught up with your soul. All the gold, all the beauty, all the fashion, your soul is drowning with all the things that are flaunting, all the chaos of the world. I break that grave open now.

And by the spirit and power of God, by the resurrection power, I set you free. In the name of Jesus Christ. Are you dead in the grave? And so you cannot pray anymore, even for one hour? Jesus Christ told his disciples, so you cannot even watch with me even for one hour? By that statement, praying for one hour is the minimum that can be accepted.

If you kneel down to pray, if you set out to pray, if you can’t make it for one hour, you need to have your grave open. You need to have freedom for your soul. You need to have the spirit of holiness, the power of the resurrection.

You need to be quickened. While they needed to pray, he was urging them to pray, they were sleeping, and that’s how we are sleeping now. And when it was time to face the enemy, they now began to fight in the flesh.

Peter drew the sword and cut off Michael’s ear. But it was not a war of sword. It’s not a war of blood.

I mean, garments that are rolled in blood. No. It’s a war of the spirit.

But they didn’t do what they needed to do. At the time, they ought to do them, and that was why Peter needed to fight in the flesh. Today, you receive the anointing of God to break loose from the chains that have held you down.

The things that have made you, as you kneel down to pray, your mouth is sealed. It is sealed. You can’t even utter things anymore.

The things that, when you open the Bible to read, in the next two minutes, you are sleeping. These are dangerous markers, dangerous signs, of the times that we are in. Today, by the resurrection power, I set you free.

Those chains that have held your hands and the fetters that have held your legs, let them be broken in the name of Jesus Christ. It is important that those that are in the grave be set free, and they will receive the fire even to set others free. You need to know that you need the resurrection power.

You need the spirit of revival, the promise of the Father. You need Him. You need Him at this time when everything around you is pushing, pushing to the other side.

You are like in a swift-flowing river, and you are swimming against the current. As you swim, if you must swim to safety, you need extra energy. You can’t do it just ordinarily.

That is why Jesus Christ told the people, tarry in Jerusalem. Don’t go out until you be endued with power. Don’t just take things for granted.

The battle is a battle of spirits. You don’t do it with your human ability, with your human strength. No.

The people that I have sent you to go and battle and rescue, the people they are holding captive, they are not flesh and blood. They are not human beings. They are principalities.

They are powers. They are the rulers of the darkness of this world. They are the spiritual wickedness in high places.

Because of that, taken to you the whole armor of God. So you need the spirit of God. You need him in baptismal measure.

You need him to overflow in your life. That’s the promise of the Father. It is this spirit that will make the Zoyi, the nature of God, the life of God, to become manifest in your life.

Jesus came that you may have that life. And when that life is manifest in the life of somebody, he cannot be like the world. He cannot be weak.

He cannot be like the giant that is sleeping. But when that fire, when those globes come from heaven and energize the man, energize the giant, then the walk will be swift and it will be for a little while. A short walk will the Lord do on the earth.

He will cut it short in righteousness. So, Jesus’ purpose is that we should have God’s kind of life. Life that makes us to live above the limits of natural life on earth.

As you consecrate your life to God this day, as you lay down your all before him, not reserving anything, not reserving your convenience, not reserving your comfort, not reserving your body and all of its cares, not reserving your possessions, your material possessions, your intellectual possessions, your spiritual, or whatever possession you have. Whatever it is, if you give it up, all up in total consecration to the Lord, the Lord will take you up. And today, out of your grave, he will build into you his true riches.

He makes out of you his true representative. On earth. In whatever corner that you find yourself.

Yes. What about you that are dead and in the grave of toxic relationships? Yes. The Lord has a program for you today.

He has something that you will remember till the day you depart this world. You have toxic relationship with your spouse, with your parents, with your children, with your neighbors, at the place of work. You have toxic relationship with people at school, at a place of business.

Does your mouth cause you to sin, as you stink like a bee? As you lie, even to escape blame? As you exaggerate matters, your mouth causes you to sin. As you labor to shield yourself from blame, or to defend yourself, your mouth causes you to sin. Always.

And you are always running the blame game. For any matter that happens, you never trace any fault to you. You are blaming somebody.

There is somebody that you have to point at, as the person that is to blame. You are pointing finger at your spouse, and that is why there is problem in that home. You are pointing finger at your wife or husband, as your neighbor.

In fact, you have assumed the office of Napoleon. Napoleon that is always right. And then others are always wrong.

But today, the Lord, by the power of the resurrection, sets you free, and makes you begin to see others better than yourself. Begin to acknowledge that you are a man, that you have need. Are you in the grave of unforgiveness? Are you always keeping a litany of offenses that people have caused you, and you are recounting them to them, always, even after they have repented and asked you for forgiveness.

You are still remembering and talking about those offenses. Never forgiving at all. I prophesy to you today, that the love of God, which was manifest in Christ Jesus, our sacrificed Passover lamb, be planted in your life.

When that love comes, it will cover a multitude of sin of people. It will make you to readily forgive offenders, whether they ask you or not. It will make you to have free heart, free mind with people, that you may love others without partiality.

That is what that encounter will leave you with. You will love people without hypocrisy, that your love might be Christ-like, sacrificial and abounding. That is what the Lord has.

I prophesy to you, that that toxic home be healed today. And when that home is healed, your children will be relieved from constant tension and strife-ridden environment. They have always seen every time nagging, every time nagging, quarreling.

That is what their environment and their life has been filled with. But from today, the Lord will change that environment. Because the power of the resurrection will come upon you.

It comes upon you right now. And it is necessary that the peace of the Lord shall garrison your soul and garrison the soul of the people around you. When you have peace, the people around you will have peace.

But if like the wicked that is a troubled sea, if you are always in turmoil inside you, that turmoil will affect the others. Because a man’s countenance will affect that of his friends. Today, you will receive strength to begin to make your spouse happy.

You will receive the grace of God to begin to labor to make your spouse happy. That will be the thing that you will be laboring to do. Not to make her angry.

Not to make him angry. Today, you will receive the grace of God that will make peace to flourish in your environment. And whether the person is responding to your love or not, you will keep loving.

Because eventually, love will conquer hatred. Because the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13, 8, that love never fails. It will eventually conquer.

Praise the Lord. Are you a worker in church? But you are practically dead. No intercession.

No private Bible studies. No personal evangelism. From month to month, not one soul with which to greet the master.

No follow-up walk. But you are answering a worker in church. No visitation to those in distress.

To those that are sick. Those that are in prison. Those that are under severe persecutions.

You have just left them to die alone. But you are answering a worker. All the workers wait.

After church, we are going to see. And you will wait. But what are you working? Dead.

And not able to do anything. This day, the Lord is going to quicken you. You will rise up.

That thing that you have been recruited to do. Before you were born, the Lord has laid his hands on you. And has drawn you to be his servant.

You will be in earnest. Even doing it. You have some resources.

No matter how small they are. But hitherto, you have not provided a shoulder for some less fortunate person to lean upon. Your resources have not answered to the needs of the people around you.

But from this day, things are going to change. The power of God is going to come upon you. And you are going to be concerned about the well-being of people around you.

The people that are less fortunate. You have not cared for them over the period. But today, the power of the resurrection will open your life up.

And cause you to come up. And the spirit of holiness will turn you around. To quicken you to live out that God’s kind of life that Jesus brought for us.

God’s kind of life is selfless life. God’s kind of life is a life that is sacrificial. God so loved the world that he gave his only son.

He sacrificed his only son. And so, when you love with the kind of love that Jesus has loved you, you will love sacrificially. From this day, your life will never remain the same again.

You will no more take the name of the Lord in vain. As a child of God, you will begin to live like Christ. The life of God will manifest in you.

You will begin to love like Christ. You begin to forgive like Christ. You begin to preach like Christ.

You begin to preach in season and out of season. You begin to pray like Jesus Christ. Yes, you begin to manifest a good measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

In fact, you begin to be his true representative as he was the true representative of his father. In Matthew 10, he said it’s enough that the disciples should be like his master. In John 20, he says, As my father has sent me, so send I you.

God is set at this close of the age to manifest his power, his genuine anointing in the lives of his genuine children. He is set, as he did in Samaria, to silence and end the deceit of the likes of Simon the Sorcerer. So he will do with us today what he did in Samaria with Philip.

Philip was an usher, an ordinary usher. He was not an apostle, neither was he an ordained pastor at that time. He was just an usher, giving to share the food to women in the church and all that.

That was him. But he was filled with the Spirit of God. But he was filled with faith.

But he was filled with the power of God. And so, when persecution drove people away and they scattered here and there, the Bible said, Philip came as far as Samaria. And there he preached the word of God with power.

He preached the word of God with signs following. He preached the word of God and the city was turned upside down. And somebody that they had held in high esteem and they were calling him the great power of God, Simon by name.

When Philip came and brought the genuine anointing of God, brought the genuine power of God down, the people now saw the difference between the fake and the genuine. And they followed Philip. And the Bible says, even as Simon became bewildered, he saw that, look, this one is different from what I have.

He also went to Philip and submitted and asked to be saved and baptized. So, the Lord has told us assuredly through our years that genuine miracles at this close of the age is reserved for genuine children of God, for genuine watchmen, for the people that yield themselves. It cannot be otherwise.

It cannot be otherwise. So today, as you open up yourself for a life-changing encounter with the power of the resurrection, as you open up yourself, we want to once again ask the music ministers to lead us into the song that will take us into prayers where we’ll rend our hearts, where we’ll cry unto God, where we will ask the Lord for a change or we die. That day, Rachel told Jacob, give me children or I die.

That is the kind of mind, that is the kind of setting in the heart. As we sing hymn number 159 in the old time way, in the old time way, the Lord is going to answer us. He is going to deal with us as he dealt with them of old.

He is going to revive us as he did unto them. He is going to fill us with his glory, with his fullness as he filled Elisha with the glory and the mantle of Elijah even upon his life. He will fill us with his secret in the old time way, in the old time way, in the old time way.

He will revive and save thy people in the old and the lost today. He will give them grace and glory in the old time way, in the old time way, in the old time way. He will revive and save thy people in the old time way.

He who walked upon the waters is the very same today. He that still doth stop and take place in the old time way, in the old time way, in the old time way. He will revive and save thy people in the old time way.

Send with all thy people upon us this exalted heart to pray with the mighties in Moses’ heart in the old time way, in the old time way, in the old time way. He will revive and save thy people He will revive and save thy people in the old time way. Open your mouth, open your heart and go to the Lord in prayer.

Tell the Lord, this is my situation, this is the way it is with me. Lord, help me, O Lord, deliver me. The physician must first be healed.

I am aware that I am part of the people you want to use to touch the situation in the world, to turn the world around, the heart of the children back to their father and the heart of the father to the children. I am aware I am part of the group. I am aware, O God, but look at the situation in my life.

I cannot give what I don’t have. Lord, touch my life. Lord, deliver me.

Lord, make me what I ought to be. Make me the instrument that you have chosen me to be. Touch me, fill me with your fullness, fill me with your glory.

Let your Spirit come upon my life. Call upon the name of the Lord. Open your mouth and speak to the Lord.

If you call upon Him in the old time way, He will do to you what He did unto them of old. He will quicken you, He will revive you, He will fill you with His Spirit. And the Spirit of holiness, the power of the resurrection, will quicken your mortal body, will raise you from the dead, from the deadness of your life, from the backsliding, from the lack of zeal in your life.

The Lord is able. It is when He is said to do a thing, He now begins to quicken us to understand, to call upon Him, to seek His face. The Lord is ready to release His glory.

He is ready to release His grace upon your life. If only you will ask Him. If only you will come with all your heart.

If only you will come with all your soul. If only you will come in earnestness. If only you will come in sincerity, opening yourself, saying, Lord, look at my life.

Look at the way it is with me. Yet, I must bring back Jacob unto you. I must bring back Jacob to Jamaica.

Lord, then, before I can do that, I must be brought back first. The physician must first be healed. Heal my soul.

Heal my spirit. Heal me, O Lord. At this close of the age, the challenge that is ravaging the churches, the Lord must deliver me in order to make me able to call upon the Lord.

Speak unto Him. Father, You have spoken to all and sundry. Jehovah, I come unto You this hour, and I am asking that the Spirit of God, the power of the living God, will come upon my life.

Bring me out of this, Jehovah, and bring Thy people out of it. Bring the youths out. Bring the children out.

Bring the adults out. Blessed Redeemer. Because the work must be done.

Yes, the work must be done. It cannot be otherwise. The glory of the Lord must fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.

This is the time, O God, when You will manifest Your power. This is the time when Your glory will be made manifest in the midst of the children of men. Therefore, the instrument that we have chosen to use, Lord, You’re going to do much more than we ask or think of You.

O righteous Father, do a work, O God, in the life of Your people. Do a work, Jehovah, and fill us to overflow You. Father, let there be revival in our souls.

O God of heaven, revive us, O God. Revive us, O God, in the old time way. Answer us, O God, in the old time way.

Quicken us, Jehovah, in the old time way, according to the making, according to the working of Your mighty power. Lord, You promised to do a short work on the earth. Blessed and everlasting Father, You said You would cut it short in righteousness.

Jehovah, else shall die. Release Your anointing. Father, let every situation that has made us immobilized, made us be in coma, made us lie down as dead.

Father, let those things, O God, be cut off from us. Let Thy glory from heaven fill us and quicken us, and let the giant rise again. Let the giant rise again, O Lord.

Let the giant rise again, Jehovah. And every individual, even this African man, Father in heaven, that is leading the battles, leading, O God, with His hands, with the fire of God in His mouth, with the glory of God descending from His hand, and the rest of us following Him, blessed Redeemer, having the same result. Father, quicken us from head to toe.

Quicken us, Jehovah, every one of us. Bring us back, O God, even unto Yourself, that we might do the things, O God, that Thou has chosen us to do. There is a reason why we are alive today, why we were brought even into this world in the first place.

Father, there is a reason. David in that day asked his brother, Is there not a cause? Father, is there not a cause why we should be in the world at a time like this? Is there not a cause why we should be at a time of declension, at a time of backsliding, at a time of the great falling away? Is there not a cause why we should be in the watchman at a time like this? Is there not a cause, blessed Redeemer? Therefore, let Your right hand, O God, move. Let Your power move in our lives.

Let every debris, every single thing that has pinned us to the ground be taken out of our lives. Father, quake in us. Jehovah, quake in us.

Lord God of heaven, quake in us. Cause us to arise out of the dungeon. Cause us to arise.

Let there be, O God, even the lively stones brought out of the heap of rubbish. Take out, O God, the lively stones out of the heap of rubbish that we might do the things that are glorious in Your eyes at this close of the age that Your program might be achieved, that we might do that Your program, O God, might be achieved through to the letter. In the name of Jesus.

In the name of Jesus Christ. This prayer must be continued. It must be, it must be stretched.

Not just one day. Not just two days. You must continue it until the fire of God returns to your soul.

You must continue it until you see visible changes in your life. and ministry. You must continue it until you become aglow with the fire of God.

Father, we are grateful to You once again because You have remembered us. In that day, after several days in the ark, the Bible said, and God remembered Noah. Father, You have remembered us.

And Your gifts and Your calling surely they are without repentance. Therefore, the things that Thou had designed that we should be used to achieve at this close of the age, nothing is going to come short of it. You are going to walk and no one will hinder You.

No power will hinder You. Walk in the life of Your children, therefore, in the life of the young and the life of the old. In the life of the men and in the life of the women.

Father, quicken us with the quickening spirit. That same spirit that quickened Jesus from the dead. Let Him quicken us from the deadness of our lives.

Let Him raise us up from the graves and cause us to triumph even in Christ Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Your name on high, Jehovah El Shaddai.

And from this very day, blessed Redeemer, let the fruit of revival begin to manifest in our lives. Let the glory of Your majesty begin to manifest in our lives. Father, wherever we go, Lord of heaven, go along with us and walk with us for You have appointed us.

Co-labor us with You. As we walk, confirm our labor with signs and wonders following. Thank You very, very much.

Thank You, everlasting Jehovah. Be Thou exalted. Be Thou magnified for the things that You have done in the lives of Your people.

Be Thou glorified for the things that You will yet do. Jehovah, because You will walk and no man, no power will hinder You. To You be all the glory and the praise.

In Jesus’ victorious name, we pray. It shall not be long, blessed Father, and the sounds will be heard in all the locations. What great things You are using, simple men, women, ordinary people, what things You’re going to use them to do in the locations.

The devils will be stoned. The men and women in the world will be shocked. They will be surprised because the Lord has risen upon His people and the light of His has shone upon their lives.

Glory be to Your name, blessed Father. In Jesus’ victorious name, we have prayed. Amen.

Hallelujah, Thine the glory, revive us again. Hallelujah, Thine the glory, Hallelujah, Amen. Hallelujah, Thine the glory, revive us again.
