Praise the Lord. Watchman, praise the Living God. I welcome every one of us to the December Retreat of the Watchman Charismatic Renewal Movement 2025.
It promises to be a special program indeed. It is a time when the Lord will pass us through the pool as we enter into it, and we come out the other side cleansed, we come out the other side purified, we come out the other side ready for His appearing in the clouds of heaven. So, I enjoin every one of us to come along with us as we take this journey with the Spirit of the Living God.
We want to open our hymn books and sing from Selected Hymns and Songs for Christian Fellowship, number 236. Open mic. “Open My Eyes, That I May See.”
It is Your truth, the path for me.
Place in my hands the wonderful gift.
The shout of thousands sets me free.
Silently now I wait for Thee.
Ready, my God, Thy will to see.
Open my eyes in You, in me.
Spirit divine.
I may hear voices of truth Thou sendest clear.
And while the weight grows more on my head, everything false will disappear.
Silently now I wait for Thee.
Ready, my God, Thy will to see.
Open my lips in You, in me.
Spirit divine.
Open my mouth and let me hear.
Sirens of mercy everywhere.
Open my heart and let me prepare.
Love with my children, thoughts to share.
Silently now I wait for Thee.
Ready, my God, Thy will to see.
Open my heart in You, in me.
Spirit divine.
I may read more of Thy loving word of me.
What should I fear? Why canst Thou not plead?
Holy, polite, from Thee I plead.
Silently now I wait for Thee.
Ready, my God, Thy will to see.
Open my eyes in You, in me.
Spirit divine.
Open my eyes in You, in me. Spirit divine.
Ready, my God, Thy will to see.
Open my mouth in You, in me. Spirit divine.
Throughout the period of this retreat, ask Him to open the packages the Lord has come with. They have name tags attached. Your name is there, and there is a package for you. Ask the Lord to open your eyes, open your ears, open your heart, open your way, that you might cut away the things that He has prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
The hour has come, and it is the day of the Lord, the day of His power that will make His people willing, willing to go all out to serve Him. Speak into His ears now, and get ready for a total turnaround in your life.
Almighty and everlasting Father, we give You glory and praise. We thank You for this very special period of the December Retreat of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement. This special hour, this special period that You have set apart at the end of every year to reinvigorate us, to reformat us, to make us that which You have designed in Your Gazette that we should be.
Lord, this December Retreat 2025 is not just going to be like any other. It is going to be a special time with You, a special time that You have designed. Blessed Redeemer, let it be indeed a time of refreshing in the presence of the Lord.
Let it be indeed a time of entering into the pool, and getting placed even in the pool and by the pool. Blessed Redeemer, let Your mighty hand rest upon our lives. Let Your Spirit, O God, walk out Your purpose in our lives.
And let everything about us be made to come into conformity with the design that You have made of us. To You be all the glory and all the praise. Speak, O God, and cause us to listen, that our lives may be renewed to give You glory.
For the time is no more. Glory be to Your holy name. In Jesus’ victorious name we pray.
Amen.
Once again, I welcome every one of us from all over the world to the December Retreat of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement 2025. This is not just another December retreat of the Watchman, but it is one that the Lord has designed to prepare every participant for the soon-coming event of Jesus appearing in the clouds of heaven.
He will appear to take away His people. And we need to note that ours is the last generation on earth. We have said this thing numerous times, and for emphasis, we say it again.
Our generation is the last generation on earth as it is. And we are the ones that will witness this most spectacular event of all ages. We are going to witness the event that has been foretold by prophets of old, that has been foretold by prophets of the New Testament, that has been foretold even by angels, and particularly by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, being the most vocal about it.
In Daniel chapter 2, verse 40 to 45, we see this great event of His appearing in the clouds of heaven spoken of even by the prophets of old. Daniel chapter 2, verse 40 to 45:
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron, for as much as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things; and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potter’s clay and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, for as much as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
And as the toes of the feet were part of iron and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly broken.
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
For as much as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
The interpretation of this dream, Daniel declared by the Spirit of God, is sure. The dream that Nebuchadnezzar had, even of a mighty image of a human being: the head of which was gold; and the shoulder, the two hands of silver; the abdominal region of iron; and then the fourth part, the two legs from the waist down, being iron mixed with clay.
And then he gave interpretation of the head of gold being the Babylonian kingdom, described it; and then the chest region of silver being the Medo-Persian kingdom that defeated and replaced the Babylonian kingdom.
After that he said the third kingdom shall be the kingdom of Greece that shall overrun the Medo-Persians and rule over the world.
And then he said the fourth kingdom, where we read, is going to be a kingdom that is different from the rest of the kingdoms before it. It will have a mixture of iron and clay.
And then he began to describe how that mixture will make the kingdom partly strong and partly broken.
And he said the kings of the last fourth kingdom, the last kingdom, in the time of their reign, shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom. And that kingdom will devastate not only the fourth kingdom, but all the other kingdoms and their vestiges and relics before the fourth kingdom.
They shall all be devastated. And then the kingdom that God of heaven sets up will now be an everlasting kingdom that shall not be left to other people. Neither shall it even be changed.
But it shall break in pieces and consume all these other kingdoms and shall stand forever.
He says that from the head of gold, the chest of silver, the belly of iron, and the waist and legs of iron mixed with clay, this last kingdom, the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, shall break them in pieces and subdue them and completely replace them, and will be forever.
He talks about the coming of Christ as of a stone that was cut without hands.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 15, remember we said that this most spectacular event of Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven was prophesied by prophets of old. It was also prophesied by prophets in the New Testament. And then it was prophesied by angels, and it was also prophesied by Jesus Christ Himself.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verse 51 to 57:
Behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Acts of the Apostles chapter 1, we see the angels declare it. Acts of the Apostles chapter 1, and we want to read from verse 7. We see the declaration, the prophecy that the angels gave concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ back to this earth.
Acts of the Apostles chapter 1 and verse 7:
And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
A cloud received Jesus out of the sight of the disciples as He took them out to the Mount of Olives.
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel.
These are angels from heaven who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven.
These are the declarations, the prophecies that were uttered by angels. The things that they foretold that would be concerning the coming of Jesus Christ.
And in John chapter 14, we hear Jesus Christ Himself talk about His return. John 14 and verse 1, He said:
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Praise the Lord.
The Lord will not have us to be ignorant. Neither will He take us unaware of this coming event. He would not want us to be ignorant, and He would not want that which is coming to take us unaware. Why? Because we are the children of light. We are not of darkness.
1 Thessalonians chapter 5 and verse 4. 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 from verse 4:
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
We need to comfort one another with this sure coming of the Lord. Soon coming of the Lord. Imminent coming of the Lord.
We that are the children of light. The children of darkness will be pained at His coming. The Bible says every eye shall see Him. And the kindreds of the earth shall begin to mourn when they shall see the person whom they have pierced; when they shall see the person that they have persecuted, they have labored and fought against. When they see Him come in the clouds of heaven, they say there will be pain.
And many people will be running here and there, wanting to hide. Some will ask the mountains to fall on them. Some will want to go and drown. But those things will refuse to kill them.
But the people that are the children of the light, the people that have made their ways ready for Him, the people that are awaiting Him having their lamps on and the oil in their lamps with reserve, those are the people that we are talking to in this program. The people that will be in full and earnest expectation, and be very glad when He appears. And He will take them to Himself.
God has therefore transmitted us into this period to experience the things that He has designed for us. God has designed some experiences and reserved them for this retreat. And so, it is for us to experience these things and be the better for them.
At this retreat, the Lord will pass us through the pool to wash us, to cleanse us, to prepare us for His appearing. So, this period, there are certain experiences that the Lord has designed to pass us through. As we enter in Hebrews chapter 12, there are certain things the Lord will pass us into and through. And then He will accomplish the work He has designed in us.
Hebrews chapter 12, from verse 12:
Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard entreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
For they could not endure that which was commanded, and if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake.
Describing the experiences at Mount Horeb. When the Lord descended and gave the law, the Bible said it was not a funny experience. The whole mountain was altogether in smoke and in fire, and the place was quaking so much that even Moses himself began to confess that he was exceedingly afraid and quaking.
Verse 22:
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused Him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven:
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
For our God is a consuming fire.
From this place we have transited from the experiences of Sinai, because the people quaked, the people were afraid, the people saw very fearful sights, they heard sounds that were deafening, but immediately after that, their lives did not change. They went into idolatry, into sin. The very commandment that was brought down to them, they broke.
But the Lord has transited us into the new experience, the experience that has the Lord Jesus Christ as the center of it.
So, at this program, we shall enter into the city of the living God. In Hebrews 12:22, it says, we have come to Mount Zion, unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem.
So, we will come into the city of the living God, and wherever we are gathered all over the world, where this retreat is going on, the Lord will dwell with us and bring the atmosphere of heaven to bear upon us all. He will come with a cloud of His glory upon us, and then possibilities at such a time will become possible.
He will come so that those that are struggling with an unforgiving spirit will begin to readily forgive offenders. He will come and He will envelop us with a cloud of His glory, so that by the time we are done, peace and love will flow freely from the hearts of the participants for the benefit of all.
He will bring us into the atmosphere of heaven, and we will come under the rule of the Word of God. We will come under the power of the Living God, and yokes will be broken. Every manner of thing that has tied us down and held us down and made us slaves to sin and to satan, they will all be shattered. Chains will be broken, fetters will be cut asunder, and the power of God will begin to rule in the lives of the children of men.
That is the purpose of Calvary. That is the reason Jesus came. And by the time it is accomplished, He will come again and take us to Himself.
At this retreat, we will have the privilege of interacting with an innumerable company of angels. We see that also in verse 22. He said, we have come unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.
Brethren, we need to understand that angels are ministering spirits that the Lord has sent forth to minister unto us all, as many as are the heirs of salvation.
In Hebrews chapter 1, we see this in verse 13 and verse 14:
But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on My right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
God has servants in His household. He also has children in His household. Now, by His special grace, we are the children. And then there are an innumerable company of servants, angels, that He has designed to minister to our needs.
So, during this retreat, we shall have these ministering spirits, the angelic beings, ministering unto us. There are very many people that are scared of demons, various demonic spirits and entities. They tell a lot of stories about their activities, and many times they elevate them as though they are now stronger than their Maker.
But the Lord is saying: wherever these demonic entities are operating, there are angelic entities, angels of God, that God has sent to watch over us, to protect us, to make sure that the activities of these demons are frustrated. There are certain things angels are sent to uproot from the lives of people, which means they were projected into their lives by some demonic entities.
The Word of God says the place we have come is a place where there are an innumerable company of angels. It does not matter the venue, whether it be a public place, whether it be a private place, whether it be a large cathedral or a small place. The Lord Himself said He will bring an innumerable company of angels to minister unto us as we come into this city of the Living God. It is a great privilege that the Lord has given unto us.
Angels will attend to many of us at this retreat. Sometimes you will be sleeping and they are working. They may be carrying some surgical operations. They may be carrying some other activities that will make you, when you wake up from that sleep, your experiences different. The things that you were crouching under will no more be, because the Lord will give them specific instructions concerning you, and they will carry out those instructions to the letter.
At this retreat, we will interact with one another and experience iron sharpening iron.
Let’s look at verse 23 of Hebrews chapter 12 where we read. Verse 23 says:
We have come to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, who are written in heaven.
We have come to the general assembly, the church of the firstborn, the church of Jesus Christ, because He is the firstborn. He said on that day that He will build His church on the rock of Peter’s confession that He is the Christ, the Son of the living God. And as He builds His church, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
So when he talks about the church of the firstborn, he is talking about the church of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
So we will interact with one another and we will experience iron sharpening iron. We will experience God’s main angels with different gifts of the Holy Spirit as they minister to us. It shall be a situation where whatever escapes the sword of Hazael, the sword of Jehu is slain; and whatever escapes the sword of Jehu shall the sword of Elisha slay. That is the arrangement.
And so you will be hearing and sitting under the ministration of various men of God, the people that God has selected or elected to minister unto us.
In 1 Kings chapter 19, verse 17, 1 Kings 19:17, it says:
And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.
Praise the Lord.
So the Lord is prepared. He has arranged His instruments, His main angels, and He has filled them with His Word, the sword of the Spirit. And as they wield this sword, they are going to slay many things in our lives. They are going to minister unto us exactly as the Lord has gazetted in His book.
And as one comes, and another comes, and another comes, even as the chief servant of God will open the scroll, things that should be completely rooted out shall be rooted out. Things that should be thrown down shall be thrown down. Things that should be completely destroyed shall be destroyed. And the things that need to be planted, need to be built, they shall all be so. Amen?
During this retreat, we will interact with and be cleansed by God, the Judge of all.
In verse 23 of Hebrews chapter 12, we see as it is written: “and to God, the Judge of all.” We have come to Him at this retreat. We will interact with God and be cleansed by Him who is the Judge of all, as He releases His judgment through His Word against whatever He does not approve in our lives. We will humbly receive those words. We will humbly align ourselves and agree with the judgment of God and judge ourselves.
As the Word of God comes and some things in our lives are exposed, some things in our lives are illuminated, things that we have done in secret, things that we did not know any person knew, the Almighty God who knows them shall speak to address those dark spots in our lives.
When it happens, let nobody begin to think, “He is preaching me, he is preaching me.” That is the problem of a number of people in this generation. The intention of the Word of God as it comes every day is to expose you to whatever is still a dark blot in your life so that those things can be taken away and you will be made ready to be taken at the coming of the Lord.
In 1 Corinthians 11, the Word of God counsels that if we judge ourselves, then we will not be judged. 1 Corinthians 11, verse 31 and 32:
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
If you hear the Word of God and you use it to judge your life, and if there be any part of your life that is condemned by that Word, you humble yourself and repent. If there is need for a little restitution, you go and make it. If there is need to go and plead with your brother, say, “That way I spoke to you that day, I am sorry about it. Please forgive me.” Humble yourself, go and do that.
But if you refuse to judge yourself by the Word of God that comes to you, and you refuse the judgment of God by the conviction of His Spirit, then you are caught in trouble. In the day of His appearing, then that judgment will come upon you. But there will not be any chance that time for you to escape.
So do not make the mistake of saying, “He preached me,” when you come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, because we came so that the Word of God should discover us, so that the Word of God should correct us, so that the Word of God should cleanse us.
I have known a sister during a December retreat like this. The preacher mounted the pulpit and began to minister, and I happened to be that preacher, began to minister.
And as I was preparing that message, I asked the Lord, “I do not know how to approach this message. What do I tell Your people? What do I say?” And God told me expressly, “Use your own experience on this matter and minister to the people.”
And the topic was contending against the obstacles in prayer. I used my own experience. The places that I fumbled, the places I had eaten much and was dazed and knelt down to pray and ended up pouring saliva on my Bible, and all the things that I have experienced. I just told them those things. I listed them. They were just flowing because they were flowing from my own life experiences.
And then I told them how eventually I began to pick those situations one after the other and overcome them. How I was able to overcome too much eating and how I was able to fast from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. The first time I fasted, I broke the fast by 9 a.m. I told them all those failures, and how, by the grace of God, I began to progress until I was able to fast for three days without eating anything, for seven days without eating anything, for fourteen days without eating anything. Progressively like that.
I shared my experiences with them. At the end, people prayed and fell, rolled on the ground, and cried and cried to God for help and all that.
When I sat for counseling at the end of the day, a sister approached me and said, “Yes, Bro Bede, it is because you know me. That is the reason you decided to tell the whole world about me. And you preached me from the pulpit.” I told her I did not call her name. And she talked and talked.
And after she finished talking, she said, “From today, I leave this church. I am no more coming. Why should you expose me?”
I tried to tell her that I was exposing myself, not her. She did not want to hear. This is somebody coming under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. And instead of falling with humility and saying, “Lord, just help me. I am a man of uncleanness. Help me. I am undone. I do not know how to help myself. But Lord, in Your wrath, remember me,” instead of crying as others were rolling and crying, some were holding the pillars and shouting, and as they were shouting, I was also shouting and crying and asking the Lord, “I have told my experience, now You must deliver me.” But she got offended.
Praise the Lord.
So, we must not allow that kind of thing to be our experience.
At this program, we must present ourselves unto Jesus Christ, the Mediator of the new covenant. The Judge of all will release His Spirit, the Spirit of conviction, the Spirit of God. He will release His Word. He will send His Word. And He will bring us to the reality of the things that we need to do, the reality of our lives and how we must get it placed, how we must get it corrected.
Then, in verse 24 of the place we read, Hebrews 12:24, it says: “Unto Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant.”
As we come and we present ourselves for these days, we have come to Jesus Christ, the Mediator of the new covenant. He is the game changer. He is the mystery of godliness. He is the mystery that has been hidden throughout all ages past, which mystery is now revealed unto us.
Jesus Christ, the Mediator of the new covenant, is the difference between the Old and the New Testaments. The laws are the same. In fact, He said He came to perfect the law of the Old Testament, not to set them aside, not to destroy them, not to take them away, but to perfect them. He made even some of the laws stricter than it was before. So, He did not come to abrogate the law.
There are many people that tell us today that Jesus Christ has taken away the law, we should not judge ourselves anymore. Some go to the point of saying it does not matter how you live your life, it does not matter what you do, the important thing is that you have accepted Jesus into your life. That is a lie.
When Jesus comes into the life of somebody, He comes as the power of God. He comes as the game changer. He comes to bring godliness into the man. He comes as that mystery that has been hidden from ages, but is now revealed unto us. Which mystery is Christ in you, the hope of glory. That is the mystery.
When Christ is in you, He confers upon you the hope of glory. Colossians 1, verse 24 to 28:
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for His body’s sake, which is the church:
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
So, Jesus Christ is the hope of glory. And at this retreat, December Retreat of 2025, you must allow Christ to be formed in you.
When He is formed in you, when He lives in you, when He enters into you, He comes in with the power of God. He comes in with the righteousness of God. He comes in with the wisdom of God. He comes in with the nature of God. For the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in Him.
So, when He comes into your life to dwell, when you open your heart and He comes in, He comes in to bring the nature of God, the divine nature, into your life. Divinity will now be living in humanity.
When divinity lives in humanity, humanity will no longer live according to the dictates of this world, but according to God who lives inside. That is the mystery. The mystery of godliness. That is the mystery. The mystery of being born again.
When Christ enters into a man, that man becomes a new creation. All things pass away and everything becomes new. Why? Because the King of glory is living inside. And He is living inside with all the virtues of God. He is living inside with the nature of God.
So, at this retreat, you must open your heart. You must allow Jesus Christ to get full entry into your life and to be formed in you.
In 2 Corinthians chapter 11, 2 Corinthians 11 verse 2:
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
He said, I am jealous over you because I have espoused you to one husband, and that husband is Christ Jesus. But let there not be any provision in you to allow the serpent to beguile you, to cheat you, to use his craftiness and take you out of the way, as he did unto Eve.
In Galatians chapter 4 verse 19, Galatians 4:19, it says:
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.
It is necessary that Christ should be formed in you. For when He is formed in you, your life can never be as it was before. He comes in as the Master. He comes in as the Lord.
Not just a Savior that has worked by His death at the cross of Calvary for the forgiveness of all your sins, for the cleansing of your old record. He comes in even to live in your life, so that He will not only give you the forgiveness of sin, but give you the power over sin. That is the mystery of the new birth.
He lives in you, walks in you, and gives you the power and victory over sin.
As we also go on in this retreat, we shall encounter the blood of sprinkling. The blood of sprinkling in Hebrews chapter 12 and verse 24: “and to the blood of sprinkling.”
We come to Jesus. We also come to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than the blood of Abel. We come to the blood of cleansing, the sprinkling.
The Bible says the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of heifer in the Old Testament, sprinkling unto the people, cleansing them. Much more shall we be cleansed by the blood of the Lord, who through the eternal Spirit offered this blood unto the Lord in the Holy of holies, in heaven itself.
So, we shall encounter the blood of sprinkling, the blood of Jesus Christ that cleanses and purges us from all sins.
It does not matter how dirty your life has been. It does not matter how long you have been a Christian and how disappointing your Christian life has been. You know it, because nobody knows your life, nobody knows you more than you, except God, of course, that knows you.
But as we pass through this retreat specially designed by the Lord to make us enter the pool, to pass us through the pool, that we will come over to the other side cleansed and ready for the trumpet sound, we shall encounter that blood, and that blood shall purge us from all sins.
It does not matter whether you have committed abortion a number of times. The Lord has the blood that cleanses from all sins for you during this retreat, if you open your heart, if you just come unto Him and tell Him exactly how it is with you.
Tell Him the situations and circumstances of your life. The blood of Jesus Christ is enough to cleanse you. It does not matter the details of the life you have led. It does not matter.
Do not let anybody begin to tell you, “Do you think that God can forgive you this heinous evil? This evil that you have done?” Do not let anybody tell you that.
Because when He spread His hands on the cross and His blood flowed freely, that blood was for you. That blood was for me. The eternal blood, the Son of the living God.
That blood, when it touched the ground, was powerful enough that the earth began to quake and split, and rocks in the mountains began to break into pieces.
The Bible said there was a thick veil, a four-inch veil, that separated the presence of God from the tabernacle of the congregation. When that blood touched the ground, when that blood was poured, that thick veil, that separation between humanity and God, was split into two, from top to bottom, signifying the opening of the way that all may go in and find grace, even help in time of need.
And this is the time that we need the grace of God. The blood of Jesus will cleanse you. It will purge you from every sin.
This blood, this same blood, is the blood of protection. The blood of protection.
At the time that Israel was about to leave Egypt, God commanded Moses to tell them to kill a lamb and sprinkle the blood on the lintel of their doors and the posts of their doors, and set that blood to be a mark, that when the destroying angel would pass through to destroy the firstborn of the children of Egypt, it would not come into any house where the mark of that blood is.
Jesus Christ is that Passover lamb that has been sacrificed for us. And the blood, the mark of that blood upon your soul, upon my soul, upon your heart, upon your life, that blood marks maximum protection for you.
All the forces of darkness and all their cohorts, as they fly around and as they release darts, as they shoot arrows, the blood of Jesus protects every child of God.
That is the reason the Bible talks about the weapons of our warfare not being carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imaginations, and everything that wants to exalt itself above the knowledge of God.
So, this blood is one of the weapons of our warfare. When you come behind this blood, warring by the merits of this blood, no power of darkness can do you any harm. No arrow of the wicked can bring you down. The blood of Jesus protects us. It is complete protection even at this calamitous time, at this time of terrible insecurity all over the world, at this time of a lot of trauma, traumatic experiences, calamities here and there.
The blood of Jesus protects you so that you can sleep with your two eyes closed. The One that you are dealing with neither sleeps nor slumbers. He is the Lord, and He keeps watch over you. And His mark of ownership is that blood, and the Spirit of His grace.
Praise the Lord.
Now, we need to take note that to get all these benefits and much more, at this December 2025 retreat of the Watchman League Charismatic Renewal Movement, there are terms and conditions that apply.
To get the benefits of what we have spoken about, there are terms and conditions that apply.
Number one: you must come with a yearning. You must come with a hunger. You must come with a thirst in your heart, saying, “Search me, O Lord, and know my heart today.”
You must come asking, “Lord, what yet do I lack? What lack I yet?” You must come asking the Lord.
As you pray, as you kneel down, and as you open yourself unto God, you say, “Lord, discover any dark blot, wherever it is.”
In Psalm 139, verse 23 and 24. Psalm 139, verse 23 and 24:
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
That should be the thing that you must come to terms with. I said to get the full benefits of the retreat, terms and conditions apply. This is one of those conditions.
You must come with a yearning, a hunger, a thirst in your heart, and you must be asking the Lord, “Try me. See whether there be any wicked way in me.”
You see, the heart of man, the Word of God says, is deceitful, desperately wicked. If you just depend on yourself, every person will be clean in his own eyes. If you depend on your judgment, if you depend on how you see yourself, you will always be giving yourself a clean deal.
But if you come sincerely and humbly before the Lord and tell the Lord, “Lord, search me, O Lord, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts. And see whether there be any wicked way in me,” that is the way to get full benefits of what the Lord has prepared for us at this retreat.
In Matthew chapter 5 and verse 6, Matthew 5:6:
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
They are blessed people who are hungry for the righteousness of God, who are thirsty for more of God’s righteousness. They want more of God. They want to know God more. They want to draw nearer unto Him. They are not satisfied with the level that they are operating now. They want to grow. They want to move on higher. They want to be closer unto the Lord, knowing that if you draw near to God, the Lord will draw near to you.
Those that are making thirty minutes prayer, one hour prayer, they are hungry for more. They want to be able to lie down for two hours and they will pray, and prayer will be flowing without break.
Like the seventy elders that Moses was asked to bring before the tabernacle of the congregation, the Bible said when God took of the Spirit that was in Moses, the vision, the person that was given to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, the kind of Spirit, the kind of resilience, the kind of ruggedness that God had given unto him for that assignment, people that must work with him must receive of the same Spirit.
And God took of that Spirit and put in them. They began to pray and prophesy, and they could not cease. Not that they did not want to cease. They could not cease, because the Spirit upon them was flowing. And they were praying, and prayer was now a delight.
If over the period prayer has been a burden, as you allow yourself to enter into this pool and to pass through it, and be cleansed by the pool of God’s water, the pool of the blood of Jesus, the pool of the presence and the glory of God, the God of heaven walking in your life, then it will transform your prayer life, and prayer will be a delight.
You will be like David now that says, “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
When this situation occurs, the Thursday prayer meetings will no longer be scanty. No. Because prayer meeting will now be a delight.
Whenever it is time to go to the house of God, whether it be Charismatic Hour, whether it be Bible study or prayer meeting, whether it be night vigil, whether it be Sunday life, it will be a delight, because the Spirit of grace has taken over your life, the Spirit of supplication, the Spirit of intercession.
The Bible says in the book of Zechariah that there is something God has promised He will do. In Zechariah chapter 12 and verse 10, He says:
I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
The Lord will release upon us the Spirit of grace, the Spirit of supplication, the Spirit of intercession, the Spirit of prayers, and prayer will be a delight.
Terms and conditions number two: you must have a focus. You must have a target. You must have a goal as you come, even through this retreat, to enter the pool and pass through it. You must have a goal for your life and for the days ahead.
You cannot afford to be like the Ephesian mob. You remember in Acts of the Apostles chapter 19, when Paul was brought before the people and they wanted to defend themselves. The mob gathered, and it was terrible.
Let’s look at Acts chapter 19, verse 32. Acts 19:32:
Some therefore cried one thing, and some another: for the assembly was in confusion; and the more part knew not wherefore they were come together.
And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.
But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
And when the town clerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?
Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
For ye have brought hither these men, which are neither robbers of churches, nor yet blasphemers of your goddess.
Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another.
But if ye enquire any thing concerning other matters, it shall be determined in a lawful assembly.
For we are in danger to be called in question for this day’s uproar, there being no cause whereby we may give an account of this concourse.
There was no reason for the uproar. There was no reason for the gathering together and the throwing of sand into the air and shouting for the space of two hours.
And then when the assembly was dismissed, you ask this one, “What is it all about?” He did not know. He just saw others shouting and he began to shout. You ask the other, he said the greater percentage of the people did not know the reason for the shouting, but they joined in shouting for two hours non-stop.
So do not be like them. When we say, “Let’s rise on our feet,” you follow and rise on your feet. When we say, “Let’s sing,” you open the hymn book and sing. But there is no focus in your heart. You do not know why we are here. You are just looking around.
Know whatever it is that is troubling your heart. Drop it at the foot of Christ, and let us come and enter the pool.
There is a reason for this retreat. It is for cleansing. It is for making us worthy to be taken at His appearing.
Let there be a focus. Let there be a target in your life. Let there be a goal.
What is that thing that easily besets you? What is that thing you are struggling with? Is it quick temper? Is it unforgiveness? Whatever it is, just come. Determine. Have a focus and say, “This matter, this thing must end at this retreat.”
Is there any sickness? Is there any trouble anywhere? Determine in your life that this trouble will not survive this retreat, and it shall be so. Because you get what you want.
Jesus, the Word of God says, “Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened unto you.” So let there be a focus.
Condition number three: remember we said terms and conditions apply. You must not allow any uncleanness to be seen in you, either by reason of your dressing or by reason of making the environment untidy.
Because the Lord is in the camp. The Lord is in the camp, and He is there with His train. His train will fill the temple. His train will fill the environment where you are having this retreat, and His glory will fill your life.
Don’t allow any uncleanness.
In Deuteronomy chapter 23, let’s see verse 14. Deuteronomy 23:14:
For the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that He see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
When they say, “This is the toilet area, please make use of it,” when they write, “Please flush the toilet after you,” ensure that you do.
If the water there is not running and the water has finished, please go and fetch water where it should be fetched, and make sure that you clean the place after you are in it.
Be obedient. Be conscious of the cleanness of the environment, because the Lord our God is walking in the midst of the camp.
And the Word of God says He is walking in the midst of the camp to deliver us. He is walking in the midst of the camp to give up our enemies before us.
So whatever thing that constitutes your enemy, whether it be sickness, whether it be disease, whether it be failures in business, anything that has constituted an enemy, the Lord will deliver that enemy into your hand, and you will overcome it by His power, by His outstretched arm.
But let there not be any uncleanness in you, even in the camp.
It could be uncleanness by reason of what is not proper, what is defiling. The camp is not a time when you will come to begin to, the brother will begin to talk to the sister and begin to woo her for a relationship. No. That is uncleanness.
Let the Lord not see any uncleanness in you, because that will drive Him away from you. He says, “That He see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.”
Don’t allow the Lord to turn away from you. Be clean in your thoughts. Be clean in your outlook. Be clean in your dressing.
Don’t begin to dress like the mad people in the streets. No. Come with your heart prepared.
And when it is time to walk back, for those who are camping, who are staying in the place throughout the period, you go and take your bath.
Condition number four: the period is one of sober reflection and meditation on the Lord’s words that you hear.
It is not a period of making calls. It is not a period that you talk away the grace of God that you have received. It is not a period that you talk away the grace of God that you have received. No.
There may be a tendency of you seeing people that have come from various places, and then you are meeting at the retreat venue, and you have not seen him for some weeks, you have not seen him for some months. It is not a time to now engage in long talk.
After the message, you need to pray. After the prayers, you need to be sober. And as you go to sit down, as you go to rest if it is break time, let there be sober reflection. Let the Word of God do His work in you.
Don’t talk away the grace of God. Don’t chatter away the things you have received, because by much talking, sin is not lacking.
It is a period of sober reflection. You don’t engage in a lot of conversation, a lot of text messaging, and all that, because your heart should be in what we are doing.
For where a man’s treasure is, there will his heart be also.
Point number five: prayers that are made in this retreat must be taken note of.
Many a time, people pray prayers and they just pray into the air. They pray and pray and pray thoughtlessly. They don’t think about what they are praying about.
You introduce a prayer point and they are just praying and praying. Whatever comes into their mouth they are praying.
And at the end of the day, about five points we are praying about, thirty minutes after, if you ask the person, he will not remember any of those points.
But when you want to pray, you pray taking note of what you are asking the Lord for. Making prayers that are pointed, prayers that are focused on some definite goal you want to achieve, some definite thing you are asking at the hand of the Lord.
When Hannah prayed, she asked the Lord, “Give me a male child.” She was specific. “Give me a male child, and I will give him back to You for Your service.”
When you are praying, sometimes it is better you even write down the things you have requested. Put the date, so that when the things are accomplished, when the Lord answers, you can tick: “This one has been done.”
That is a purpose-driven prayer. You have a purpose you want to achieve. You are speaking into the ears of Him that answers prayers, and He is set to show Himself strong on the behalf of those whose hearts are perfect toward Him.
God will answer our prayers at this retreat. It is His nature to do so.
In Psalm 65, the Word of God calls Him the God that answers prayers. Psalm 65 verse 2:
O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come.
He is the One that hears prayers. He answers prayers.
So when you have come to this retreat, come with an expectation for your prayers to be answered.
Don’t come to pray and say, “I have prayed for this problem. This minister has prayed. That person has prayed,” and you have just come and you are just praying because they say, “Let us pray.”
Let it be far from you. Come presenting that problem and expecting to leave it there as you go.
Come expecting that your prayers have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and He has heard you.
The Word of God says in 1 John 5, verse 14:
And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:
And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.
O Thou that hearest prayers.
It says when you pray according to God’s will. What is God’s will? God’s will is God’s Word.
If there is any Word that you can hold concerning the matter on ground, concerning what you are asking at the hand of the Lord, if there is any person that has asked that kind of thing in the Bible, you can say, “God answered him, because He is not partial.” You can present that matter to Him as a case.
“Lord, this person prayed this kind of prayer, You answered him. Now I come in the same manner. You must answer me.” And the Lord will answer you, because He is not partial, because there is no shadow of turning with Him.
All good and perfect gifts come from above, from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
If He did it for Abraham, He can do it for you. If He did it for Job, He can do it for you. If He did it for Esther, He will do it for you. If He did it for Deborah and granted her victory against all odds, He will do it for you. If He fought for Jehoshaphat, He will fight for you.
That is the God we serve. He is not partial.
If Jabez cried unto Him and demanded for a change of his life and status, and God heard him and changed him and he became more honorable than his brethren, then if you are in the room of Jabez, you can cry like Jabez cried, and your situation will change.
At this retreat, lives will change. Situations will change. Circumstances will be altered. The God of heaven will make room for you. You will enter into your Rehoboth, in the name of Jesus Christ.
In Hebrews chapter 11 and verse 6, Hebrews 11:6:
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
If you must come to God, two things are required of you. Number one: believe that there is God, that the God you are talking to is alive. He is a Being. You are not just talking into the air. You are not speaking to a force like electric current, like wind.
You are talking to an intelligible Being, a Being that sees, a Being that hears, a Being that speaks, a Being that has emotions, a Being that has mind, a Being that you can interact with, a Being that you can talk to, and He will talk to you back.
When you know that God is, the second thing that will qualify you to have breakthrough in your faith is that you also know that that God answers prayers. He says, “He that cometh to God must believe that God is,” that is number one; “and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him,” simply put, He is the One that answers prayers.
Those that seek Him with all their hearts, those that ask at His hand, and they press on, they don’t give up.
They are like the man that went to somebody, a rich man, and was knocking at midnight because some people came to him from a far journey. And this man went to knock at the door of his rich friend and said, “Please lend me three loaves. A friend of mine has come from a far journey, and he is famished, he is fainting, and I don’t have anything to present to him. Please lend me three loaves, lest he will die before morning.”
And the man from inside would say, “No. I understand you as my friend, but I will not come out now. I am already gone to bed with my children. I cannot rise to give you.”
He said when that man continues to knock, and continues to knock, and continues to knock, though he is his friend, he will rise up and give him because of his importunity, because of his persistence.
And then he said we should do like that unto God. Continue to knock, and the door will be opened. Continue to ask.
Even Jesus, the Son of God, exemplified persistence in prayer.
When He prayed and prayed for God to deliver Him at the garden, the garden of God’s summoning, the Bible says He prayed the first time and nothing happened. He prayed again and nothing happened. He prayed the third time until sweat that was coming from His body was like drops of blood, until God answered from heaven and sent Him an angel, and the angel strengthened Him.
What was He praying about? He did not want to die in the garden. He said, “My soul is sorrowful, even unto death. Please come and pray with me.”
If He should die in the garden, His death would not fulfill the Word of God for the salvation of mankind. He needed to pass through the judgment. He needed to carry the cross. He needed to be crucified between two thieves.
So the sorrow that came upon Him was crushing Him to death at the garden, and He cried. He prayed. He asked for help. And that help came.
That is why the book of Hebrews said when He prayed with strong crying and tears, He was heard. The Lord heard Him, sent an angel, and the angel strengthened Him.
With that strength, He was able to pass through the ordeal of the unjust trial, the unjust sentence to death, the flogging, the thirty-nine strokes from wicked and strong Roman soldiers.
He was able to carry the cross. Even though the load was heavy, He was crouching under it. He fell three times. But He was able to survive through to the place of crucifixion until He fulfilled the debt that was written concerning Him. He was heard because He feared.
And so, if we pray, we persist in prayer, because we know that Somebody is there.
If you come to a house and as you are coming you just saw that there are a lot of cobwebs in the place, a lot of dust, the person you know used to live there, but that particular time the signs on the place do not show that there is somebody there, out of fulfillment of obligation you can just say, “Let me knock, peradventure,” and then you knock.
Two times may even be too much because you are not expecting that somebody may be there. So if you knock once or knock twice, what will you do? You will go.
But if while you are coming, even though the place looked dusty, but right before you as you enter the compound, you saw there was light in the parlor, you saw that before you as you were approaching somebody put off that light, you saw it, and then drew the curtain and covered the window, you are sure that somebody is there.
If you knock two times and nobody answers, you will knock the third one. If you knock three times and nobody answers, you will knock the fourth one. Why? Because you know there is somebody there.
Am I right?
If you have Somebody in heaven, you will knock, and you will not get tired until you get what you are looking for.
So at this retreat, we will knock. We will pray. We will ask until we receive. Prayer is asking, and answer to prayer is receiving. Anything less than that, continue to knock.
So this retreat promises to be one great retreat, but you need to be prepared. You need to avoid distractions. You need to avoid people around you that are talking and making you distracted.
You need to have your writing material. You need to have your Bible, your hymn book, and your jotter. Important points, you jot them down, because these things come not every time.
The Word of God might fly onto you. Don’t miss it. Hold on to it. Some of them you jot down and begin to walk by them, begin to pray with them.
And the difference between your present sorry state and the expectation of your heart may depend on what you hear even in one of the messages. So don’t joke with it. Don’t let any distraction. Don’t let any inconvenience carry you away.
The Lord is set to meet us. He is set to walk in our lives, to take us into the pool, to pass us through it, and make us come out different, come out sparkling, and ready for His coming in the clouds of heaven.
Let’s rise on our feet and pray. I want you to talk to the Lord. Tell Him your decision, your purpose, your end for coming to December Retreat 2025.
Tell the Lord it is not going to be like any other. That this December, this time, this period, you are going to do as you have been counseled, and you are going to benefit maximally. That the very purpose of God, the very design of God for your life, must be achieved. You are not going to be shortchanged at all.
Tell the Lord that you have come that He might pass you through the pool. You have come so that the issue of being a Christian and then living like a non-Christian does not arise anymore, does not hold at all.
That any person meeting you at any time, in any situation, will acknowledge that this one has been with Christ, by your words, by your actions, by your relationships, that the coming of Jesus Christ into this world, the purpose must have been achieved.
Speak to the Lord. Open your heart. Tell the Lord, “I am here. I open my heart unto You. Touch my life. Touch my heart. Cleanse me. Make me whiter than snow. I don’t want to go home the same. No. I don’t want to go home without getting the things for which I came. Lord, open my eyes. Father, open my ears. Open my heart. Speak unto me. Let everything false disappear from my life.”
Speak to the Lord. Tell Him this retreat is not going to be as usual. No. It is not going to be like the one that I went and there was nothing to show for it. No.
Tell the Lord, “This retreat must be one that will be marked in heaven as a game changer in my life.”
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. We give You glory.
Everlasting Father, we thank You very, very much, because it is of the Lord’s mercy that we are not consumed, because it is the Lord’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom.
Therefore, Lord God of heaven and earth, we present every one of us before Your throne of mercy, and we are asking that Your right hand of power will move, and every hindrance in our lives will be knocked out.
Every obstacle that wants to stand between us and the fulfillment of Your purpose for this retreat in our lives, Father, take out of the way.
Let every distraction, O God, be silenced. Let everything that wants to hinder us from benefiting maximally be taken out of the way.
Father, we want to come before Your throne. We want to enter into the cloud of Your glory. We want to come into Your presence and have our lives changed.
We want a story and a testimony, that by the time we are done in this retreat, Lord, we shall have been accounted worthy of being taken at the coming of the Lord.
You said in that day, two women shall be in the field: one shall be taken, another shall be left. We want to be among the ones that are taken to be with You.
You said, when I am done preparing the house, I will come again and I will take you, so that where I am, there My servant shall be.
Father, that is the blessed hope of every person. That is the reason somebody can endure every trauma, every trouble, every problem on this road, because it is Your good pleasure to give us the kingdom.
You will walk in us. You will walk into us. They needed grace. They needed transformation before the translation.
Thank You very much for this opportunity that You have presented. Thank You, Everlasting Father, for Your grace is sufficient for us.
Let Your name be exalted. Let Your power envelop us and lead us into the way that Thou hast chosen.
To You be all the glory and all the praise, in Jesus’ victorious and perfect name, we have prayed.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
